Yes. Christians believe disobeying God lands them in eternal torture, if God tell them to do something, they have that looming over their apparent choice, and are therefore coerced. Odds are your prayer coerced otherwise moral Christians into voting for a greedy, lusty, prideful adulterer. Who knows what stain that will leave on their souls.
But does God do that eternal torture? Or do you do it to yourself? If you jump off a building, and splatter on the ground, did God do that because of the system of gravity He set up? Or did you do it to yourself? I don't know if it the new pampered culture or the sense of irresponsibility or what, but it seems like today's left thinks there should be no bad consequences for anything. If they are lazy, they feel they should be taken care of. If they do terrible things, they feel they should get off scot-free.
