But does God do that eternal torture? Or do you do it to yourself? If you jump off a building, and splatter on the ground, did God do that because of the system of gravity He set up? Or did you do it to yourself? I don't know if it the new pampered culture or the sense of irresponsibility or what, but it seems like today's left thinks there should be no bad consequences for anything. If they are lazy, they feel they should be taken care of. If they do terrible things, they feel they should get off scot-free.

Pedophilia does not equal homosexuality. How many times do you need to be schooled on this before it sinks in? A pedophile can be male or female, gay or straight and be attracted to either or both sexes. It is primarily the age of the victim, and not their gender which is the attractant.

And by the way, you don't get to dictate to forum members what they may or may not post just because it upsets you. WE don't know how many there are because the church refuses to release records.

I focus on them because the church is protecting them and claiming that their child victims encouraged the abuse. Why would anyone take moral guidance from people who defend Nazis, pedophiles, and rapists?

They sound like frat boys with a crucifix.

I wish more people would read this research by UC Davis but it has never appeared on Fox News or Breitbart, so conservatives don't agree with it.

The empirical research does not show that gay or bisexual men are any more likely than heterosexual men to molest children. This is not to argue that homosexual and bisexual men never molest children. But there is no scientific basis for asserting that they are more likely than heterosexual men to do so. And, as explained above, many child molesters cannot be characterized as having an adult sexual orientation at all; they are fixated on children.

There was a Civil War. Personally, i thjnk Lincoln was our greatest President , but he's been cast aside by the right in their zeal to fly the Confederate flag. Tell me then, why Republicans are the ones who get their panties in a wad when someone wants to remove a statue of Robert E Lee? It seems like you should be thrilled. Right?

A female pedophile may be attracted to either or both genders, and the same is true of male pedophiles. Their own sexual orientation is immaterial; it's the youth of the child which attracts, not their gender.

How is it just priests where we don’t know the number? Wouldn’t that be true in the godless public schools or many other organizations? Same with ‘moving them around’. It’s what groups did 50 years ago before the harm to victims was as well understood. I get tired of this singling out only of the church. But we know the reason. Exonerating gays for what? Rape is societal issue, not a gay or straight one, and needs to be addressed systemically. We all have our part to play.
