Trump stunned US officials when he called Egyptian President el-Sisi 'my favorite dictator' at the G

Trump's not a politician or a lawyer, that's why many voted for him.

People have said for years that Washington is full of politicians and lawyers and we need to vote someone who's not a politician or lawyer into office.

So they voted for Trump.
Really? That’s the logic for electing Trump? People were tired of politicians and thought an amoral lying sack of **** was the better option?

Liberals slay me.

Trump cozies up to the horrible Saudis like every prez since FDR, and liberals lose their minds.

Trump calls the horrible Egyptian dictator a dictator, and liberals lose their minds.

The takeaway?

If Trump does something, liberals will lose their minds.

Trump's biggest problem?

He's not a smooth criminal like Obama.

I know you're joking. :)

Yes, that WAS the logic for electing Trump.
Too many on the Left sat home and sulked, too many Dems sat home, thinking we already had it in the bag, and that left mostly people who have been conditioned to not trust our institutions, not trust any form of government or even trust what they see and hear in the media....i.e. acting like the lady who stayed on the toilet for two years.

Basically by sitting home and sulking, or believing we had it in the bag, we let the idiots on the right make our choices for us.
But by being complacent, or acting like spoiled brats, we were the bigger idiots, bigger because we ought to have known better.

I sincerely hope that this four year long Trump bukkake party will permanently disabuse enough liberals of the idea of staying home and not bothering to vote. If not, then they will get treated to another four year long Trump bukkake session, with some scatological fun thrown in for good measure.

He is also not an american who committed to America's form of Govt. No dictator is either.

:applaud Well said, brother.

Liberals are confusing their hysterical 3 year bukkake session for Trump's.

Keep up the good work, folks.

Me, liberal? Nah. While it is true that I am very much anti-Trump, his party affiliation is irrelevant to me. Matter of fact, my first vote was for Reagan, and I’ve voted for more conservatives than liberals over the last 35+ years.

All I care about is who I think will do the best job or at least, do the least damage.

Yep, at this pooint I'd say if you're willing to divide and/or alienate parts of an opposition that needs to be steadfastly united against Trump over personality cultism, at this point well, you're just a piece of ****.

Sad to say, mass hysteria ropes in all kinds; collateral damage. :(

 ~ I like the Trump sense of humor. He plays the media like the fools that they are . 🔤

The mass hysteria is with Trumpsters who praise Trump as if he is Jesus Christ.

Positively cultish.

First we had the cultish mass worship of Obama.

That morphed into terrible disappointment for many.

That disappointment then grew and morphed into hysterical mass hatred for Orange Obama, aka Trump.

But I do think it's important to distinguish among those who present with TDS: some are misguided, some are mentally ill, and some are sociopathic.

You strike me as the first - well-meaning, but in the weeds.

I wouldn't go so far, but I believe this is as important, or a greater challenge than winning over independent moderates. Even if we do win over the vast majority of independent moderates, will they be enough to offset the disgruntled, stay at home, Sanders supporters? I hope they, along with all the lazy Democrats learned something from '16.

He has such an affinity towards despots, it might be a question of, united we stand or divided we may never get him out of office...

My first thought was surprise -- because I don't believe he likes el-Sisi better than Kim or Putin. Possibly better than Erdogan. Probably better than Xi since those two are having a tiff.

But it's not something we can really fact check. So let's just add el-Sisi to the list of dictators he loves and not worry about ranking.

I'd bet he couldn't even remember who el-Sisi is. He simply said something nice, because he likes to do that even when it's clear he's bull****ting.
