Debate: Democrat vs Republican politics and Liberal vs Conservative values - nothing off limits!

I thought it would be nice to have a sounding board here for anyone who wishes to raise concerns or seeks clarification on Trumps behavior and/or actions. Not only that but lets also put everything politically related on the table. Nothing is off limits politically or ideologically. All I ask is that we keep the debate somewhat friendly and respectful. Even if we have differences of opinion does not mean we cant learn from each other or grow in a better understanding of the topic at hand. All that being said I will list a few examples and if we don't generate any interest I will pose some of my own questions to y 'all a little bit later in the day. Lists below are by no means exhaustive. And feel free to add your own talking points. Hopefully I put this in the correct sub forum...

Plenty of liberal, left wing socialists out there. Do I really have to spell this out for you?

A liberal stands for a set of opinions, attitudes and behaviors that usually oppose traditional values and typically mesh with left wing/ left leaning politics.
Socialism is a political ideology that is also aligned with left side of the political spectrum. Therefore, you may have a liberal socialist. For example, Obama is a liberal socialist. But keep that on the down low. We don't want word getting out that Obama hates Christians and the state of Israel.

Okay, but you gotta admit, I was close! So you are a liberal communist? Makes for a great combination. On paper, that is. What about real life? Lots of genocide and death. But liberals don't look back at the past failures of socialism/communism they only look forward to their dream of a leftist utopia. And that must be built on the bones of a conservative, God fearing society. Yeah, a man creates. And a parasite askes: Where is my share?

Let me put it to you this way: There is no such thing as a conservative socialist.
Liberals CAN easily align with the basic tenants of a socialistic society. i.e. Its a natural evolution or progression as both are grouped with left wing thought, philosophy and policy. For example, Obama ran as a liberal democrat but in reality he was a socialist and he surrounded himself with other socialists (who also masqueraded as liberal democrats). What I am saying is liberals can most definitely have a socialist slant. Hence, that was the terminology I used when asking MMBL about his political convictions. Hillary Clinton is another good example. Ran as a liberal democrat but underneath she held fast to socialism.

This should help bring things into focus:

Let me guess, you have forgotten about why our country fought the Civil War? It was the democrats who wanted to keep slavery legal and the conservative republicans who freed the slaves from the liberal minded evil democrats
