Interesting to note that Trump has now been invited twice but chose not to go and address the free press.

Here is a speech that Trump gave about Social Media.

If you see and hear both of these speeches you can see the stark difference in what is a man (Obama) that has humor, caring, and is presidential to one who has no humor, is ego driven, and is a clown.

Here is another video about Trump and his comments about the free press:

Easy to make a speech like Obama's when you come with a couple of dozen hickies on your butt from the adoring press.

Look...the press HATES Trump. Trump has no love for the press. Both the media and Trump are douchebags. So why hold an event that everyone knows is a farce?
The 4th estate is required to print facts, but the Trump administration prefers an alternate reality. Fox News has gotten tired of carrying water for him and they are telling the truth about his incompetence.

    I like that idea.

So when are they going to begin? Checked how your pension plan is doing lately? That Trump's "incompetency" in action.

My keyboard is fine. I just bought it a few weeks go.

If you want facts to try the BBC or NPR. You don't want the truth. Instead, you want your media sources to tell you that your opinions are factual. You want an echo chamber.

Or, why waste time talking to hundreds of people who hate you and earn their livings disparaging every thing you do and are doing their best to keep you from winning the next election?

The press doesn't work for politicians. They arent their PR staff. They are professionally required to be independent.

I'm sure if we ever get back to a free and independent press Trump will accept the invitation and attend. As long as it's a meaning of antagonistic doctrinaire propagandists it's not worth his time.

LOL, wanna buy a bridge? You're talking the theoretical press that's supposed to report not proselytize; in real life they fail miserably on that count. The editor in chief of the NYT TOLD his editors and reporters to forget Trump's alleged Russian conspiracy as a theme and concentrate on his alleged racism and white supremacy. That sound like professional independence to you?
