[W:48]Trump: I look orange, but so do you because of energy-efficient light bulb

I think we should give the Great Orange One credit for at least pronouncing oranges properly.

Or of course he could have been talking about the "oranges" of the Mueller investigation again.

The man is a monument to ignorance and ineptitude, isn't he?

I keep thinking that he has already hit bottom but he just starts digging furiously. It's time to find a secure nursing home for grandpa because his dementia is getting worse.

It is fascinating to witness people who say discrimination against people with different skin color is bad to make fun of someone for their skin color.

I prefer All are created equal and have to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness in opposition to their views.

This is no surprise, however.

Demokkkrats went out of their way to resurrect the KKK decades after Republicans had eradicated them.

"On the evening of March 21, 1915, President Woodrow Wilson attended a special screening at the White House of THE BIRTH OF A NATION, a film directed by D.W. Griffith and based on THE CLANSMAN, a novel written by Wilson's good friend Thomas Dixon. The film presented a distorted portrait of the South after the Civil War, glorifying the Ku Klux Klan and denigrating blacks. It falsified the period of Reconstruction "

The only other person I know who was so obsessed by oranges was Cesar Romero.

Slightly NSFW

I've never looked orange in my life. But that could also be because I get my color from real sun exposure and not a tanning bed.

"People said what's with the light bulb? I said here’s the story, and I looked at it: The bulb that we're being forced to use — No. 1, to me, most importantly, the light's no good. I always look orange," Trump said during a speech at a House Republican retreat dinner.

More gems from the Moron in Chief here.

His stand-up routine just keeps getting better.

Trump: I look orange, but so do you because of energy-efficient light bulbs

Bullcrap. Energy efficient light bulbs generally come in two "color temperature" ranges, 3200K and 6500K, with a very few calibrated at 5600K.

Typically, light sources with a CRI of 80 to 90 are regarded as good and those with a CRI of 90+ are excellent.
The general rule is: The higher the CRI, the better the color rendering capacity.
CRI is independent of color temperature.

There is a minimum standard for "CRI" (color rendering index) and professionals in film and television generally use bulbs with a CRI of at LEAST 90 or 93 or better.
Professional venues ALSO use bulbs with a CRI of at least 80 or 90, because they have to in order to attract customers.

As usual, Trump IS A LIAR.

Living in the past are we? The white supremacists are now in the GOP.

How does he explain that he looks orange in sunlight?

He also said yesterday, "There are so many people that want the NSA job because it's fun working for trump!".

Yes, fun... like painful dental work! Also, don't you love it when we speaks about himself in the third person?

And the has to clarify that he is referring to himself...:lamo

Worshiping politicians and government is something Socialists adore.

I only worship My Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ.

I've been wondering, who ever appointed Jesus a Lord?

Far as I know he wasn't even a land owner...

I believe an uninhabited island would be the proper choice.

Well give him a ball, a stick and a hole and he can live out his days in peace where he can do no more harm to the world...

He believes that he served in the military so send him to a VA nursing facility, unless Vlad Putin has a better offer in Moscow for the Trumpster.

The funny thing is the same people that bring up that bit of history would no doubt have been Democrats back then.

What ever happened to log cabin Republicans???

Let's put a smile on that dial...

But Trump is the second coming. He said so himself.

i prefer a nice tract of land in South America with enough room for his followers.

As always with a silly Trump claim, the scary thing is his followers will believe it and fight tooth and nail to pwove it.

However there's an insidiousness quite apart from the lame retort that the bulbs change his color not the tanning bed: he is playing on the idea that there's something 'wrong' with green energy solutions and environmentally-friendly technology. Like the windmills that 'cause cancer', this one is a sign of solidarity not just with big-polluter donors, but with Joe Sixpack who prides himself on not caring about 'gay' stuff like the environment as a matter of macho republican identity.
