I don’t think that Omar is into naming who did what etc: it’s all terrorism, we all know that. I believe that her point is that we’ve not handled it very well, and we haven’t.

This is indicative of America today. Blame somebody other than those involved. It's the NRA's fault that some parent raised a selfish sadistic kid who'd hurt others. It's America's fault that the Bin Laden family did the same. It's Omar's fault that she was born in Somalia where we engaged Muslims militarily and that ended up being on Osama Bin Laden's list of gripes. It's everyone's fault that everyone else is offended by something somebody said. Actually, it's really only the fault of the criminal himself.
