Assuming you are talking about Brittany Bramell, the CIA director of public affairs from my quote above. You didn't prove that Trump "people" lied.

There is a long history of agencies and allies being scared crapless by the national security risk Trump was known to be.

I guess the spokesperson was expected to say, "Sure, we got our guy out because Trump is a known security risk that Putin has leverage on. Why do you ask?"

It's too bad that Trump and everybody in his administration has lied constantly. If they hadn't done that, the denial above might have meant something.

I’m “ok” with it now because no one has done anything wrong that we know of. My utter disdain for Trump is irrelevant to the facts as we know them.

Sitting presidents shouldn't go overseas and say they trust Putin more than they trust government agencies.

I don't remember that. And I bitched about Obama on a regular basis. I didn't like him. I thought he was a douche. I still don't much like him. But Trump is 1000 times worse than Obama.


Trump is a traitor many times over. There is no one he won't betray. Including the people who are willing to sell their souls to make excuses for his treason.
