The Republican Mission to 'destroy the rights of people to live their lives.... as to Homosexuality, that's God's to deal with as God choose with the individual.

Hmmm...my daughter was pretty hungry various times I fed her for free. I must have been teaching her socialist ideology. Because it couldn't be that people recognize when others are hungry and often share food with them. All I saw was a far right wing (apparently pseudo evangelical) screed, one surrounded by right wing trigger words, which consisted of a recycling of some made up nonsense from 50 years ago made up by a John Bircher (speaking of far right wingers).

It's just proof of what I have said for two decades.

Today's Trumpster and talk radio right wing are the sons and daughter who bought the same nativist trip half a century ago.

2) The left denies the existence God and Jesus, wants and all-powerful autocratic central government that doles out a lot of welfare. That fits the Roman Empire perfectly.

If you don't pay taxes, you will go to prison. This is true for any government, left wing or otherwise. As for Rome, they did not deny the existence of God or Jesus. They simply required all subjects to pay appropriate respect and worship to Roman deities. Which Christians refused to do.

The grain dole, which I assume you mean by Roman welfare, actually served to stimulate the luxury goods industry by providing the poor with more disposable income.

Actually, didn't Jesus say something along the lines that those who fail to feed the poor and hungry, fail to clothe or minister to them, will be cast forever into the lake of fire? Yeah, I'm pretty sure he does say something about that in Matthew 25. Hard to imagine what is more coercive than a threat of immense and eternal pain...
