Mr. Louis Dobbs, quoted.

Posters on this very forum have tried to make the case that Trump doesn't lie.
His lying has been characterized as "puffery", "ignorance" or " He's just trolling libs" or "Trump thought what he said was true".
Interesting that Trump apologists will excuse his serial lying by admitting that DJT is an ignorant, stupid troll.
Mind boggling.

Because Trump suffers from a serious case of narcissism and has been allowed to live in his own reality because of wealth and celebrity and now power, Trip has been able to live unchallenged and unconfronted by the reality of the rest of the world. When he lies, he really believes the lie becomes real because he says it. That is the essence of the Alabama debacle. He made a small error - after all predicting the weather is NOT his profession - but his narcissism will not allow him to admit publicly he made an error if he can fudge it and bully his way into half assing it.

We have a mentally ill damaged person as our President. This is extremely dangerous and he must be removed ASAP by any legal means necessary.

I watched one of their guys, Stuart Varney, insist that Trump never lies! Just imagine!

Hi! Yup, I ran into that, too. A while back, I had a few minutes available and wrote the following little bit of doggerel. Hope you enjoy it.

Before we go our merry way,
Until we wander on,
Let's pause to praise our leader brave.
Let's hear it for the Don!

Stout heart has he; a man of steel,
He does our nation proud.
It's time we made our feelings known.
That's right! Shout 'MAGA' loud!

[Poem by A. C. Rostic]

Regards.

I agree with all you've said here.
My question is how can Trump supporters not see the same thing.
Is it some sort of tribalism that will reject all DJT criticism?
The guy lies all the time, his supporters know it.
Why don't DJT's fans just say "He lies sure, but we like his performance as prez, so we just don't care."

It is sad to say and even sadder to admit - but - a large percentage of Trumpkins are indeed the Deplorables that were identified during the 2016 campaign. People who are racists and xenophobes and are filled with negativity and darkness. They see Trump as one of their own and that is all they need. Trump has given them license to come out from under the rocks that polite society has consigned them to for a long time and feel liberated.

They intend to stay in the light and intend to win the war between themselves and decent people. '

And make no mistake - a war it is.

Hi, SOD! I hope you enjoyed my little bit of fluff. There are times when the best way to refute nonsense is to just, as Chef Emeril would say, 'Kick it up a notch!'.

Regards.

I got that you were being sarcastic. My comments about delusional people weren't aimed at you but those who can't seem to understand why people don't like Trump.

Oh, that's easily explained. MAGA is a death cult

Hating Donald Trump is something to proud of. It is a sign you love America and its people and are sad to see a great nation and a great people saddled with this mentally disturbed narcissist and incompetent fool. It is an act of pure patriotism.

It's not that I hate Trump, but that I love my country. Trump is making an embarrassing mess of our country. He was and is and always will be unfit for the office he now holds. His incompetence was apparent before he was elected, and his actions in office have verified it. I don't call that hate, but a realistic assessment of Trump. He is out of his depth.

Amen brother... amen.

In case there's someone who wants to find out if your employer made a political donation to a Republican so they could try to destroy their business.
Even though you yourself haven't you'd still be affected if they were successful.
It's a case of collateral damage but that's to be expected and you wouldn't mind, right?
It's intimidation but it is free speech after all and it's all the rage these days.

Lol...well since I haven't been anyone's employee for more than 10 years I could careless.

I don't know why making a donation to a Republican would cause a company to lose business. Since Republicans keep winning elections I assume there are a larger number of them maybe they could up their support of the business that's being harmed. What's the big deal?

Making a donation is no big deal at all. To me. And to you.
But doxxing and blacklisting is organized and done by the Left to pressure employers and intimidate political opponents.
Would tolerant people do that?
Would people comfortable with their positions do that?

Boycotting is as American as apple pie.
Doxxing used to be called gossiping.
Every business has to make a decision support what your patrons support or go out of business.
Personally I stopped shopping at both hobby lobby and chick fila about 10 years ago. When Walmart 1st came to my area the city blocked them so they built 2 stores in poorer bordering cities literally right on the borders, I didn't step foot in a Walmart until almost 10 years after they opened even now I only go there when I'm in another city or if at home if everything else is closed.
My question for you is Republicans keep winning elections so if that's the case then there are more of them than Democrats why aren't they exercising the right to boycott, instead of just complaining?
If I remember correctly they are really good at organizing...why aren't they?
For the life of me I keep wondering where all those mobs went especially during the 2017 healthcare town halls?

"“I am so tired of hearing the rationalization of the left in this country because they hate Donald Trump, inexplicably and without foundation. They choose to hate America. The Democrats have truly become the party of hate.”

It appears, at least to this sidewalk observer of the passing parade, that Mr. Dobbs is doing his level best to get the Fox News network back into the good graces of President of the United States of America Donald Trump. The President's re-tweet suggests that his effort is not in vain.

'Fair and balanced'.

And so it goes ...

He's the right man for the job:

Lou Dobbs is too extreme even for Fox Business News.
These remarks (by Dobbs) echo conspiracy theory that immigration from non-white majority countries is being promoted by prominent Jewish Americans such as George Soros. In its most extreme racist form, the theory is that figures like Soros are encouraging immigration as a pathway to destroying white America. The very phrase “Soros-occupied State Department” calls to mind the anti-Semitic trope of a “Zionist-occupied government.”

You're wondering why Republicans don't behave like Democratics? Really?
The answer should be obvious by now cuz I've been showing you.
The Democratics are the Party of organized intolerance & intimidation.
And they want to codify it in the Constitution ... but that's another thread.

That makes no sense as I have been in the Democratic Party since I was 21 years of age and am now 70. So which groups that I loathed have I joined?

The groups you loath are those you consider hate groups. The Democrat party has become a hate group.

Hating Trump and his policies is a patriotic badge of honor.

Good you think that. It will ensure his reelection.

Thanks for your honesty.

That makes no sense. How does my opinion of Trump ensure his reelection? I never knew I held such sweeping power!!!!!!!

That (bolded above) could easily be used to describe Joe Biden. His recent comment that we should ban guns with "magazines that hold multiple rounds" points that out. Like Trump, Biden spews variable "stream of consciousness" nonsense and expects folks to accept it as leadership and/or an issue position.

The problem with the 2020 POTUS election is that voters are likely to be left with as bad a choice as we were offered in 2016 between the viable major party candidates. I will grant you that Biden is not as narcissistic as Trump, but Biden is clearly mentally disturbed (addled?) and incompetent. Replacing an old fool with an older fool is not what this nation deserves.
Replacing Trump with any of the Dem candidates will be a tremendous improvement. Trump is a horrible president (and person) in every regard.

Being frustrated with elected officials is not the same as hating the person.
Who do you think you’re fooling? Trump capitalized on hatred throughout his campaign.
