This time the Trump Tax is 15% on Americans who buy consumer goods ranging from footwear and apparel to home textiles and certain technology products like the Apple Watch. A separate batch of Trump Taxes -- including laptops and cellphones -- will be 15% and start on Dec. 15. This is all after hammering farmers and many other Americans.

Good job Republicans. You elected someone way in over his head. His pay grade is actually a "New York City Con Man".

Just in time for back to school...

But he's doing all this for national security. That's a fact. On record. The flag-hugging flim-flam man is protecting America not only from China, but from Canada, Mexico, Europe...

Weak propaganda.

Addressing ongoing unfair trade practices which are harming American workers is an important task.

So important to pass this $$$"cost"$$$ onto the American people?

Is there any other way to solve this issue?

I don't think so. Besides, the "passing on" is short term.

How else can China's illegal activity be addressed? Ban trade altogether?

China begged to join the WTO, and then immediately violated it's principles and refused to abide by it's rulings.

i hope that lower and middle income Tweety cultists enjoy their latest Republican tax increase.

Good. I support consumption taxes.

Of couse you don't

I believe if Trump told you to stand on one foot and hop around in a circle you would do it.

How about working on the American people to begin with? That sir is our problem that you only poo poo.

Who is buying this cheap Chinese **** to begin with?

The American people/so called legal residents and illegal aliens are right?

Very few by EO alone. What, exactly, would you suggest - lodging yet another WTO or UN complaint?

Nearly every major retail outlet and many factories in the country. The fact that they elect to pass this added federal taxation cost on to US consumers was not the least bit unexpected.

Reforming the American people

Do not settle for less

Think big and bolder

Finish the story

Because there is a demand for them no?

Yes ... I know

Could you possibly be any less specific? By what means would "reforming the American people" be achieved?

Making Americans out of the so called Americans we have today?

By what means would "reforming the American people" be achieved?

You got some extra millions to fund me and my ideas kinda like John Hancock started to back Sam Adams?

You know, the two unlikeys'?

You know what they say"You can't take it with ya"

Yes ... I know

Precisely so - might such demand be reduced by imposing a special tax on that demand? The idea was that by imposing a special tax on widgets from source A, but not on widgets from sources B, C or D, then maybe the demand for widgets from source A will decrease a bit.

Are you a libertarian who approves of Tariffs?

True, but it's important to address unfair trade practices in an effective manner. We're one year into this stupidity and it's not doing any good. Trump, as usual, thought this was going to b easy. Well meaning incompetence is still incompetence.

Possibly however trump has no idea how to do it, and it very clear trade wars were not the a deer.

This is a case of the cure being more deadly than the disease...

I'm hoping that all republicans have finally figured out the Donald Trump can't negotiate anything.

As opposed to "reforming the American people" (the fundamental transformation of America?) - yes.

Well, expect to talk about all the daily BS on here instead of more of....

" How's the Dodger's doing"?

(wink)

Continuing with decades of inaction is even greater incompetence - see congress. What, exactly, is your proposed "effective manner' of addressing these "unfair trade practices"?
