Keep Marysville as white as possible (Jean Cramer)

There's a name for people who find themselves more offended by the calling out of bigotry than the bigoted opinions themselves. They are, as evidenced by their behavior, bigotry enablers.

That fine for a person because nobody said that you cannot wear your permanent press sheet, but your bigoted idea doesn't apply to is welcome to be a resident of a city. I may be idealistic but the idea of sundown cities died in the 1960s.
 
Ms. Cramer apparently believes that a monocultural society is the cat's meow.

Other people believe that a multicultural society is the bee's knees.

In 2019, Ms. Cramer is obviously on the losing side: She will never be elected. She should also consider doing what some other Americans with her point of view have done: emigrate to another country or at least to another city/state.

1. Some university dormitories, I hear, reserve certain floors for certain ethnicities, for the residents on those floors feel safer and freer in such a setting. I think that it's great to have such safe spaces.

a. Of course, it would be illegal for the current majority ethnicity to have such a reserved floor. But when that ethnicity loses that position in thirty years, then maybe it would also qualify for its own dormitory floor.

2. There are also, I hear, some reserved floors for gay students so that they do not have to tolerate slurs or worse. Great idea, I feel.

3. In some countries, there are separate subway coaches for females. Another great idea, I feel.

4. We also have financial segregation. Airplane accommodations, for example. There is no talk of abolishing such practices.


If I had my druthers, every single person would have the opportunity to live where s/he felt comfortable and safe, but I realize that such a situation is simply not practical.

I think the first amendment should be repealed, as it is the basis for pornographers to sell their evil and destroy families and traffick women.

And you seem to have a warped view here, it's the left trying to force us to live the way they want to live. I was never consulted as to whether I wanted to live in a society of freely available porn, contraception, destroyed families, divorce, and public perversion. No one cared what I thought when I was born, so in fact the left is imposing their view of society on me and not the other way around.

You can still lead the life you want can you not. You are not forced to watch porn, get a divorce or use contraception. You can lead the life you want with no interference. Yes you will be exposed to things you do not like, but that is life. On the flip side, the non religious are free to ignore the catholic church, but they will be exposed to it, which they may not like.

No one is imposing their system of lifestyle on the other, and that is freedom. For it to be imposed on you, you would be forced to watch porn, forced to use contraception, just as for the non religious they would be forced to follow the religious views you like. That is imposing, just being exposed to it in passing is not

It's a meaningless distcintion, I still have to live in a society damaged by it.

It's one thing to say "well you don't have to use porn or contraception" but that means nothing when my tax dollars are being used to provide public assistance and prisons for the children of the families these things have destroyed, it means nothing when you see damaged and broken people who take their own lives because they haven't had proper love and attention in the home. The personal argument means zero when you have to live among a society that not only allows people to do these things, but actively encourages it and uses the force of the state to claim the clergy is wrong and it's healthy for you to sit in your basement masturbating to online pornographic images or it's empowering to sleep with a lot of men and contract STDs because you have the pill. It's the furthest thing from a free choice there can be.

The word "racist" is over used, but it is the "theory" or perhaps better stated often the motivation behind discrimination, which is illegal, i.g., a community segregating itself. Simply being a racist is not illegal. Just stupid.

The motive is a different conversation and if you impune somebody for their motive you have to be able to provide evidence that some crime has occurred

You have chosen where you live. Nobody’s forcing you to live there. The fact that you don’t like certain aspects of your community or that, as part of that community, you are required to assist others with your tax dollars is irrelevant because you have chosen where you live. Others are no more required to bend to your world view than you are to theirs.

Don’t like it? Move into cave, but stop yer crying. It’s pathetic.

You can move can you not? Go to a remote part of Utah, and live among the Mormons, who while not Catholic generally do not do the things you do not like. You are not forced to live in Washington state

I would accept this as an option except the liberals wish to hijack the Supreme Court like they did decades ago which means any time the state legislature of Utah decides porn and baby murder are not their values the liberals will override it with unelected judges. Remember when Californians rejected homosexual marriage? The (un) Democratic Party used legal chicanery to override the will of the people

Update. Jean Cramer has dropped out of the race. Her name will still be on the ballot. I wonder if she will receive many votes.

Are you being forced to watch porn and have abortions, or is your opposition related to the fact that you cannot force your conservative religious beliefs on others? How many gay/bi/ or transgendered people have you been forced to marry? What is the problem with you learn others to live as they choose or do you see yourself as an arbiter of mortality and feel that your religious beliefs should be enforced as secular law? You mentioned once that you were a libertarian, so why cant you live and let live so that others can do as they wish?

You should have also learned that the individual states cannot ban what the federal government allows. This is the idea behind the Supremacy Clause O(Art VI, paragraph 2) because of a state could ban would is permitted by the federal government then the US Constitution would not have the power to be enforced.

There is a very rational reason why federal judges aren't elected. if they were elected then they would be forced to consider the legally incorrect views of the people who elect them instead of making the legally correct but unpopular decisions that they should. Did you not learn this concept in high school civics?
