Surely you don't really believe the crap you’re posting, right? 28% of African Americans approving of Trump is an absurd claim. Fact is, Trump averages in the single digit approval range with African Americans.

“But a separate Quinnipiac poll, released Monday, found Trump has a 6% approval rating and 84% disapproval rating with black voters. This is consistent with other polling.

While Gallup polling shows Trump's approval rating at 44% overall, it rests at 8% among black Americans.”

Let's see what the exit polls say come election day. Reading that sounds like trump saying he is beating all the dems in the polls, which of course isn't true.

This poll oversampled Dems and Reps, just like those other bogus polls and they also undersampled Inds...but their over and under sampling was not by as much. They sampled Dems at only 36% instead of, say, the 48% that Fox did. But Zogby didn't ignore the Independents by as much as Fox, either.

Zogby is also an online poll...something to always be suspicious of...but they take steps to prevent the possibility of people responding multiple times.

Here is their methodology:

Zogby Analytics conducted an online survey of 897 likely voters in the US.

Using internal and trusted interactive partner resources, thousands of adults were randomly invited to participate in this interactive survey. Each invitation is password coded and secure so that one respondent can only access the survey one time.

Using information based on census data, voter registration figures, CIA fact books and exit polls, we use complex weighting techniques to best represent the demographics of the population being surveyed. Weighted variables may include age, race, gender, region, party, education, and religion. The party breakdown for this survey is as follows: 36% Democrat, 36% Republican and 28% Independent/unaffiliated.

Based on a confidence interval of 95%, the margin of error for 897 is +/- 3.3 percentage points. This means that all other things being equal, the identical survey repeated will have results within the margin of error 95 times out of 100.

Zogby? Not the greatest reputation for accuracy in polling. Not much better than the equally woeful Rasmussen, frankly.

You know what, I applaud you for being somewhat consistent and rejecting this poll for its lousy methods even though it says what you want it to. We don't see a lot of that these days.

I have heard some commentators say that those two ethnicities are NOT especially supportive of unauthorized immigrants entering this country in such huge numbers.


Maybe that is why President Trump is doing better with them than expected.

Out of the 8 polls recently conducted on Trump's approval 6 have him with double digit negative approval ratings including Fox News. Only one has him positive and it's barely. The average of the 8 polls have him at -10.1 and even Trump's own internal polling has him losing to ALL of the top 4 Democrats.

I've said many times that I don't, as a rule, pay attention to polls. I've seen too many that deliberately manipulate their results by using various methods.

The sampling issue is one of the easiest and most empirical. Other methods, such as carefully constructed questions are more subjective and harder to oppose. But by and large, they are all designed to present the numbers the pollster wants to present.

I haven't look at all of those polls, so I don't know how accurate I would judge them...but I did look at that Fox poll and it's crap. 48% of the people they polled are Dems. That is obviously slanted. I suspect most of the other polls are equally slanted. That means that average is worthless. It's a case of GIGO. (Garbage In-Garbage Out)

btw, I noticed that they didn't include that bogus AP poll. You know...the one that shows 63% disapproval. I wonder why not? Are they trying to game their averages?

Bwahahahahahahahaah!!! Dude you realize that Hillary Clinton won the popular vote right? 48.2% of Voters voted for her over Trump. I saw a recent article which had an interesting theory on why Trump's popularity among Republicans appears to keep rising. There's evidence to conclude that the reason is because every decent right thinking person who understands how disgusting and immoral this president is has left the Republican party, so there's nothing left but Extremists that support Trump. I encourage you to accept the possibility that yes, in fact 48% of the United States identifies with the Democratic Party. Meanwhile, One Koch Brother down, 10 million more baby boomers to go.

Blacks and Hispanics have been used for years and promised great things to buy their votes. They are beginning to find out after the election is over, they get nothing from the democrats.

The smart ones can see what President Trump has done for them, and will vote for him in 2020!!!

I heard a very interesting take on what Trump has done for minorities from a early 30's group of men a mixed group...they said when all the white people left applying for jobs are hopped up on opioids companies start looking at Hispanics first then they look at the black guy with a felony when he was 18 and they pick the one that's not on drugs, likely not illegal and hey you got lower black unemployment.
They said yeah as soon as they get the white people off drugs, dismiss all there felonies because it's a health crisis, black unemployment will be right back where it was.
I never thought of it like that and was shocked by the white guy saying yeah and I'll get $2 bucks more an hour. Nothing new here.
These were warehouse workers.
I'll believe almost 30% of any group other than rural or older white men support Trump when I believe the earth's square.
