I don't want extremists, and I don't want anyone who won't compromise. The best Presidents of my lifetime were the ones who would work across the aisle.
I hope this trend continues, of the people actually wanting those who reach across the aisle. For the first time since she won her first Senate race in 96, I feel like Susan Collins might actually have a fight on her hands for re-election.
At this point I would be happy with her not being declared the winner, the minute the polls close. But there are a lot of angry women up here who have been speaking out, loudly.

Investing in the future of a greater america via public funded secondary education is not radical. In fact, most proposals are only labeled radical by two types of people; centre right people, and right people. That's it.

Why is it, for example, 60 cents on every dolllar taken in taxes by the government has to go to the military? As an american, I find it extremely disturbing that advances that would promote and enhance the common good for all of our people are seen as radical, but our extreme military budget and investment in inhumane, extremist wars, are something we just sweep under the rug.
It all comes down to messaging and how it is handled.
Do you think that most people who hate the ACA know that its seeds and some of its features are from the Heritage Foundation? Of course not, that was not part of the messaging.
Say what you want about Republicans, they all get behind the Mule and push. Democrats, not so much, and they suck at messaging. I would have been all "You guys hate this? You ****ing wrote it." And I would have said it every day.

Maine and Arizona. Alabama reverts to the GOP. Net loss of two seats for the Democrats leaving the senate 51-49 GOP. Although one needs to keep a close eye on North Carolina and my home state of Georgia. With the right candidate they could switch too. Way too early to tell. The rest at the time look like no change. Nothing official here until I start my forecasts. The house, the GOP gains 8-10 seats, not a threat to retake the house. Just some Republican districts coming home.
This Reform Party member thinks it is high past time that we start electing Americans to congress and the presidency who put America first and their political party further down the line. But for way too long we have been electing Republicans and Democrats who happen to be Americans instead of Americans who happen to be Republicans and Democrats.

This is a debate forum, not a consensus forum. Moreover, nothing I've said is directly rude; except of course, your refusal to discuss the valid points I've made.

They keep calling NH a seat that may switch to the GOP, but I don't see it at all. The competition Shaheen will face would have given me the willies even when I was a faithful Republican voter.
It's disgraceful. I'm going to maybe and I'm looking at it very seriously. We're doing some other things that you probably noticed like some of the very important things that we're doing now. But we're looking at it very seriously because you can't do that. - President Donald J. Trump

Shaheen is safe. I don't see anyone that can beat her.
