Florida school hires combat vets with semi-automatic rifles to protect students from active shooters

I'm not playing this game. You said the police chief didn't know squat about guns if he called semi-automatics 'assault rifles', right? Well, you agreed with me when I said he wouldn't know squat about guns if he said AR's were assault rifles. You said that and I showed you where he did just that.
But like I said, I'm not playing this game. The last word is yours.

no you said that he called it an assault rifle. if he called it an assault rifle then no he doesn't know what he is talking about.
AR15's are not assault rifles by definition.

There is no game here except the one you are playing.
The blaze article is correct when they call them semi-auto rifles because that is what they are.
they are not assault rifles. anyone that says they are is just being dishonest.

Didn't I quote the police chief saying 'assault rifles'? Yeah, I'm sure I did. Do you need me to quote it again?
You got a problem with that term in this context your problem is with the Chief of Police of Palmetto, Florida. Why are you ragging on me about it? It's the chief who's being dishonest.

you obviously don't know what you post. from you directly.
"Hey, did he call them 'assault rifles'? That police chief? Sure he did.
Must be some kind of dumb**** libtard who don't know squat about guns."

they are not assault rifles and if the police chief called them that then he doesn't know what
he is talking about.

you are attempting to take what he inncorrectly said as some kind of argument on gun control.
we know what you are trying to do and i am simply correcting the narrative back to facts.

Bull****. You don't know who you're talking to if you think I'm in favour gun control in the US. What I'm doing is ridiculing rightards who latch on to a stupid quibble about terminology and try to make a huge issue out of it.
That what you're doing? Making a huge issue about a quibble over terminology?

There's no 'if' about it. That's what he said. You read it. I guess that police chief doesn't know what he's talking about, huh?

So, you're saying that since one cop was a coward, everyone is?

Sorry, but I don't buy into the "let's do nothing" strategy.

No..... I'm saying the cop was away in a whole another building far from the essential shooting

Just like a vet would be with an empty chamber(LOL)

That is what I'm saying(wink)

So what defines an assault rifle?

Sick mother****ers.

I'd never allow my kid in a school like that. A public school?

Yeah! Providing security and keeping kids safe! Bastards!! :lamo

You'll send your kids to the school that the government tells you to!

very trolling of you, do you have anything substantive to offer?

So what defines an assault rifle?

The ATF defines an assault rifle as a weapon that has a selector switch that allows for
single fire, burst and or full auto.

those weapons are heavily regulated by the ATF and requires about a year long background check.
the weapon must be handled through a class 3 dealer.
and it must be made before 1986.

you also must pay a special tax stamp for it and at any time be able to produce the weapon for an inspection by
the ATF.
