How is sitting in a novelty tea house talking crap about Republicans and shopping at Whole Foods then getting in, generally, either a 1980's Volvo (to show how hippy you are) or a new BMW, to drive back to your multi-million dollar house/property " trying to make the world more equal and fair"?

I lived with and worked with lots of these hypocrites up in Marin and West Sonoma County...

That is not what I said.

I pointed out that Trump admires this president whom you consider so bad -- and admires a whole lot of other terrible people.

I didn't enumerate all the things which add up to make Trump the worse person ever to hold the office of U.S. president.

Good thing I didn't waste my time since you just showed that you don't care what I actually said.


It is ironic that Trump admires that man that you want to have us believe is so much worse than Trump. But that's not all which earns him the position in the top spot. And he would do a lot worse than he has already done if he didn't have our laws to constrain him. He's continually pushing, testing the edges, to see if he can find an opening to crawl through to do more of the illegal and un-American things he wants to do. We can hope the safeguards we've built in during the 180 years since Jackson's presidency will hold against Trump's assaults, but it is not clear that they will.



If you're going to keep putting words into my mouth and using them as a springboard for some riff on where your made-up version of my words would lead, well, do what you gotta do. I'll just pretend you're not there until you actually do go away.

If you wanted to buy the wheels on my car, I would indeed call that absurd. For one thing, I wouldn't be able to drive my car after that. Why would I even consider that? Why is it rude to tell you that it's absurd when it is, in fact, absurd? Should I lie and say I'll consider it and then have to put up with you pestering me about it?

Holy ****... way to miss the point. I was trying to make the analogy of buying something that was part of... not something that was mandatory to keep it functioning... like Greenland is part of Denmark... but it is not mandatory to keep it functioning. Does that help you understand my analogy? Jesus sitting on a Hippo... what if I asked to buy something non-essential like the fuzzy dice hanging off your rear-view mirror instead?
