Nasty man says what?

Oh, they wouldn't be hypocrites, I suppose, if they subscribed to right wing bigotry and elitism? At least the conservatives have an entrance exam for their group that any idiot (literally) could pass.

Yeah, shame on those liberals for being able to advocate for anyone but themselves. They should act more like conservatives who don't even try to empathize with or advocate for sick, poor and politically disenfranchized people .

Some times your critique of liberals, ultimately, sounds more like conservative denial of who YOU are.

Using voting and IRS data for the residents of 3,000 counties across the nation, the four-professor research team found, according to the New York Times, that counties which are “overwhelmingly Republican” report higher charitable contributions than Democratic-dominated counties

In reality Trump's offer to "buy" Greenland is insulting, patronizing and ridiculous. Calling it "absurd" was very restrained. And the insulter in chief had his feelings hurt? Over absurd?

What else was there to do but pull out his favorite adjective for women who stand up to him. He's inappropriate and incapable of representing this nation.

Why is it insulting, patronizing and ridiculous? The USA bought Alaska and Louisiana... was that also insulting, patronizing and ridiculous?

Just like many on the Left are pretentious hypocrites touting to make the world more equal and fair while they drive around Marin County (and other places) in their Audi's to and from executive jobs.

They might be hypocrites, but having a good job and a nice car doesn't make someone a hypocrite if they're actually trying to make the world more equal and fair. There is no vow of poverty in politics.

Trump refers to another woman as 'nasty' -- this time the Danish PM - CNNPolitics

Trump inquires about US buying Greenland, but it's not for sale - CNNPolitics

Are you ****ing joking me? This is the type of **** that makes Liberal Anti-Trump Whiners look like absolute idiots.

He proposes to buy Greenland, is completely gracious about Denmark and it's people and the Danish government comes out and repeatedly insults him and THEN... he says that those responses are nasty... because they ****ing are nasty. And he does not refer to the woman as nasty... he refers to her RESPONSE as nasty. The amount of lying you guys do is pathetic.

Just when I start to think Trump has to go you guys pull the same stupid crap which brings me back to reality... thank you.

OK, so you're trolling again.

So I take it, you don't think the idea of buying Greenland is absurd. The government of Denmark does and said so. It's not nasty just accurate

How is sitting in a novelty tea house talking crap about Republicans and shopping at Whole Foods then getting in, generally, either a 1980's Volvo (to show how hippy you are) or a new BMW, to drive back to your multi-million dollar house/property " trying to make the world more equal and fair"?

I lived with and worked with lots of these hypocrites up in Marin and West Sonoma County...

So Trump... a guy that admires murderous dictators is WORSE than the actual murderous dictator?

....

That is not what I said.

I pointed out that Trump admires this president whom you consider so bad -- and admires a whole lot of other terrible people.

I didn't enumerate all the things which add up to make Trump the worse person ever to hold the office of U.S. president.

Good thing I didn't waste my time since you just showed that you don't care what I actually said.

It is ironic that Trump admires that man that you want to have us believe is so much worse than Trump. But that's not all which earns him the position in the top spot. And he would do a lot worse than he has already done if he didn't have our laws to constrain him. He's continually pushing, testing the edges, to see if he can find an opening to crawl through to do more of the illegal and un-American things he wants to do. We can hope the safeguards we've built in during the 180 years since Jackson's presidency will hold against Trump's assaults, but it is not clear that they will.

If you're going to keep putting words into my mouth and using them as a springboard for some riff on where your made-up version of my words would lead, well, do what you gotta do. I'll just pretend you're not there until you actually do go away.

So say we are allies and I offer to buy the wheels on your car... you insult me saying how insulting it is for me to offer to buy the wheels, that you now want to rethink your allied relationship with me, call me names AND THEN... then I say that your response is nasty. You would actually sit there and think that I was the rude one?

If you wanted to buy the wheels on my car, I would indeed call that absurd. For one thing, I wouldn't be able to drive my car after that. Why would I even consider that? Why is it rude to tell you that it's absurd when it is, in fact, absurd? Should I lie and say I'll consider it and then have to put up with you pestering me about it?

So I take it, you don't think the idea of buying Greenland is absurd.

Why would buying land from another country be absurd?

The government of Denmark does and said so. It's not nasty just accurate

Then why did they not act Presidential (like so many Trump Haters accuse him of) and just politely say, no thank you?

Holy ****... way to miss the point. I was trying to make the analogy of buying something that was part of... not something that was mandatory to keep it functioning... like Greenland is part of Denmark... but it is not mandatory to keep it functioning. Does that help you understand my analogy? Jesus sitting on a Hippo... what if I asked to buy something non-essential like the fuzzy dice hanging off your rear-view mirror instead?

So Trump... a guy that admires murderous dictators is WORSE than the actual murderous dictator?

That is not what I said.

Uh-hum...

Yes. Worse than Jackson.

Trump admires Jackson, and modern murderous dictators,

Good thing I didn't waste my time since you just showed that you don't care what I actually said.

It appears that I know what you said better than you do...

If you're going to keep putting words into my mouth and using them as a springboard for some riff on where your made-up version of my words would lead, well, do what you gotta do.

Do you have any idea how stupid your posts are? Just read the above about how I stated EXACTLY what you said...

Unless they offer $500 or more. That wouldn't be too absurd to you. :lamo

Because she wasn't responding to Trump. She was talking to the press. She didn't even know for sure if it was a serious offer.

First, how in the heck is it absurd or rude to posit the idea of buying Greenland? How do you think most countries acquire more land? Would a war for land be more to your liking, leftists? Talk about absurd. Secondly, saying someone made nasty comments is not the same thing as saying that the person is nasty. Absurdity again. Maybe it would have been better for him to be more tolerant like the left and called her racist, or a white nationalist, or xenophobic or something. I hope you leftists are just this insane on here and not in the real world, because, wow, the crazy is strong in most of you.

Because Greenland was not for sale. It was an absurd and stupid thing for Trump to suggest, as anyone with one quarter of a functioning brain knows.

TDS in full flame ^

No, there is nothing rude about offering to buy a territory. It would be forward thinking and genius if Obama had floated an idea like that.

You posited buying the wheels of my car. Don't try to gaslight me because you now realize it was a stupid argument.
