Trump Accuses Jewish Americans Who Vote Democrat of 'Disloyalty'

You're right many Americans did suffer, because after tarnishing McCarthy these commies ended up in Universities (mainly Berkeley) and began working to destroy Christian morality and American patriotism.

So the clueless guy with a McCarthy avatar is defending McCarthyism.

Whoodathunkit?

My question is why would anyone continue to attend when they all know this is systematic among the catholic church?

The wolves leading the sheeple just like trump and his followers.

Probably because they do not presume that the moral teachings have anything to do with the crimes and child rape perpetrated by some members of the Catholic Church. Any more than the massive amount of sexual abuse and child rape that occurs within public schools gives justice to the claim that public schools were organically and structurally created to act as child abuse centers.

“I think any Jewish people that vote for a Democrat, I think it shows either a total lack of knowledge or a great disloyalty.”

- the guy who encouraged a hostile foreign country to interfere in a democratic election in order to help him win.

**** Trump

Yeah, that.

Isn't this the same idea that many Liberals on this forum talk about in regards to "Uncle Tom" minorities that vote Republican?

Not that I agree with his idea, but it seems funny that there will be multiple people in this thread being mad that Trump is using their talking point now.

If the weather is hot/cold/mild, liberals bash Trump.

They're obsessed, and not in a healthy "I just want to smell your hair while you sleep" kind of way.

:doh

Jewish leaders are outraged by Trump's comments.

The remark led critics to argue the President was dabbling in the anti-Semitic trope of "dual loyalty," which questions the loyalty of Jewish citizens.

"It's unclear who @POTUS is claiming Jews would be 'disloyal' to, but charges of disloyalty have long been used to attack Jews. As we've said before, it's possible to engage in the democratic process without these claims. It's long overdue to stop using Jews as a political football," Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt tweeted later Tuesday.

Halie Soifer, executive director of the Jewish Democratic Council of America, called the comments "yet another example of Donald Trump continuing to weaponize and politicize anti-Semitism."

"If this is about Israel, then Trump is repeating a dual loyalty claim, which is a form of anti-Semitism. If this is about Jews being 'loyal' to him, then Trump needs a reality check. We live in a democracy, and Jewish support for the Republican Party has been halved in the past four years," Soifer added.

J Street, a liberal advocacy group focused on reaching a resolution between Israel and the Palestinian territories, said in a statement, "It is dangerous and shameful for President Trump to attack the large majority of the American Jewish community as unintelligent and 'disloyal.' "

The President has suggested that Jewish Americans, who are traditionally staunch supporters of the Democratic Party, are leaving it. But polling suggests that Jewish Americans continue overwhelmingly to be Democrats and opposed to Trump.

Jewish Americans voted for the Democratic Party by about a 3:1 margin in the 2018 midterm elections. And Jewish Americans are far more likely to call themselves Democrats than Republicans.

Trump has previously suggested Jewish Americans have a dual loyalty to Israel and its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, including when he told the Republican Jewish Coalition in April that Netanyahu was "your prime minister."

But if some members are involved, why does the church for the most part cover it up?

If my leaders were acting that way and had been for who knows how long, I would be asking myself what I was doing there at some point.

To each their own, believe what you wish just don't push it into my face and demand I believe too.

I don't know if people should really let Trump troll them to the point of outrage. If he deserves any kind of response, it should be a dismissive one akin to a pat on the head and being shooed away. In this instance, his remark is usual nonsense because it follows that old "with us or against us" model which is devoid of any nuance. As a responsible citizen one should be able to criticize one's government when one thinks its not acting properly; it's what's been the catalyst for change.

Sorry, those who support potus dont get off the hook on this one. He condemns omar and rashida for anti semitism and then goes on an anti semitic tirade.

Of course the right will act like it never happened. They have no moral authority.

You really need to get off this line of conduct. Its absurd and childish. You forget, in your "drift right" that trump started this mess by insisting on insulting everyone as he ran for president, especially liberals.

Our Dictator in Chief condemns, insults and demands loyalty. Maybe in 2020 he'll dump Pence and run alongside of Netanyahu as a winning team. What a piece of work this character is!

Trump Accuses Jewish Americans Who Vote Democrat Of 'Disloyalty' | HuffPost

This is one giant Willey E Coyote ACME device that is going to blow up so ****ing big in his face. I'm loving this epic level of stupidity on Trump and trumpanzee nation who've doubled down on it.

Pretty much; Trump is a master troll.

2 wrongs don't make a right...

:kitty:

But I'm not drifting right; 2016 & onward have just opened my eyes re: liberals. :(

Do we really need a troll as our President?

Well, he's good for a laugh anyway.

This could not be said of Hillary; I know 85 year old nuns who have more fun.

Did Omar and Rashida say anti-Semitic things in your opinion?

To justify the murder of the Jews both to the perpetrators and to bystanders in Germany and Europe Hitler used not only racist arguments but also arguments derived from older negative stereotypes, including Jews as communist subversives, as war profiteers and hoarders, and as a danger to internal security because of their inherent disloyalty and opposition.

These statements were made in Hitler's Reichstag Speech

He made that statement and the Night of Broken Glass (Kristallnacht) followed it.

When you say a "group" is hurting the state by being disloyal your calling into question their rights, heritage and/or their legal status.

Why does Trump keep using references from Nazis that appear in the Nation Holocaust Museum?

By the way, I would just like to say that for once, Trump served the interests of Democrats here. At first, he drove a wedge between Jews and Democrats...in that singular way that only he is capable of...by convincing Netanyahu to bar Tlaib and Omar from visiting Israel.

Now, as a result of this latest comment, Trump just drove Jews back into the fold of the Democratic Party more effectively than anybody could have.

Thanks, Donald!

I don't know why Trump said it, why do you respond to my post without answering anything I said? Please try to fail less.

Trump represents the party of "Jews will not replace us!"

Jews are not fooled one iota by Republican support of Israel. We're not stupid.

Why do you think people owe you so much that they need to answer your loaded questions?

The Republican party isn't the party of "Jews will not replace us", anymore than the Democratic party is the party of bike lock attacks, baseball shootings, etc.

I agree, but I'm not Jewish and not a Jewish leader, if I were, perhaps I'd join them in their outrage. Average folks should give him a dismissive pat on the head and kick in the a$$.

Why do you think people owe you so much that they need to answer your loaded questions?

It wasn't a loaded question. I usually don't respond to people without addressing their comments especially if I hadn't been talking with them prior.

If you think that was a loaded question it shows more about your dishonesty than it does anything else.
