It is no joke that we are now ranked so low in the industrialized world.

We as a society are to blame for our ****ty education system. We sit around and accept it like helpless lemming and it is not helping this or any future generation.

If we cared about it we abolish public schools entirely. Give every parent a voucher and let them send their kids to the private school of their choice.

But what's far more important for liberals is to funnel taxpayer dollars into public unions.

While its true that Racism and White Supremacy was prevalent in this country before Trump became President, Trump always held severe racially biased views and he has actually institutionalized the White Supremacy movement through policy.

Their actions today regarding Abortion clinics and reproductive services is not really about some holier than thou life rights of a fetus effort. Its about trying to raise the white birth rate high enough to stave off white minority status scheduled for about 2042, 2050 the latest. As with most things dunce cap White Supremacists come up with, this won't work either. If anything Minority birth rates will raise even faster than now and relative to White birth rates. Sorry Swastika boys....bad idea.....AGAIN.

Not all sit around helpless...

There are many parents that decided to home school their children.

There are home school organizations that help parents. HSLDA

There are online schools. K-12 as well as college

There are some charter schools in spite of the outcry against them.

Public Schools are no longer the only option for those who can't afford private schools.

We've always been divided by race. When the country was 90% white, that wasn't too much of a problem. Since they changed the immigration laws, the country has become more diverse, and therefore more divided. This will continue to get worse.

The left has been explicitly racially appealing to nonwhites for some time. Trump was the first mainstream person on the right to sort of kind of maybe implicitly appeal to whites (while also explicitly appealing to nonwhites). Because the media hates whites, they considered that the epitome of evil.

Ungodly, unjustified, wicked hatred takes several forms. Whites hate blacks. Blacks hate whites. Blacks hate cops. Children hate adults. Leftists hate conservatives. And the list goes on. Racism is one type of hatred but every type of unjustified hatred is just as wrong as every other.

Mom and Dad lived in a poor section of Chicago. Democrats came knocking at the door bearing gifts ( bags of food and other essentials) asking for votes. Eventually Dad got a union job and was making decent money. Unions advised voting for Democrats. Both devout Catholics. We went to Church every Sunday. I attended Catholic school.

So, LOL it went in one ear and out the other. They couldn't understand how I could be a Republican. But, they accepted it along with me being just a Christian without the Catholic Church. They eventually joined me being just Christians without the Catholic Church.

Black and Hispanic women have much higher rates of abortions than white women. From here:

"In fact, the women come from virtually every demographic sector. But year after year the statistics reveal that black women and economically struggling women — who have above-average rates of unintended pregnancies — are far more likely than others to have abortions. About 13 percent of American women are black, yet new figures from the Centers for Disease Control show they account for 35 percent of the abortions."

Shutting down abortion clinics speeds up white minority status.
 
The only people dividing this country are those playing the race card. I hoped in my lifetime that the race card would be so worn out that it would be retired. Evidently not.

I have been called a racist about 100 times on this forum alone because I support legal immigration from countries all over the world instead of illegal aliens from a few select countries trying to jump to the head of the line and circumvent our immigration laws.

Right. We should have let Saddam Insane torture and kill a few more million people before stopping him. No he didn't support terrorism. Saddam paid the families of terrorist money for terrorist who blew themselves up killing Jews. Saddam refused to let weapons inspectors do their job as agreed after attaching other countries. He told the UN and us to go stick where the sun don't shine. I remember a man named Adolf who did the same thing. Maybe we should have let him develop a nuke or some more chemical weapons so he could give them to some terrorist to use on us in the future. In my opinion he should have been removed from power the first time he used chemical weapons on people. Sorry if I don't support such nice rulers as Saddam insane. Do you support rulers like Saddam insane? You think we should just look the other way? Why have UN resolutions if we do not enforce them? We need more leaders like Bush who will stand up to evil.

At face value that doesnt sound racist. But I dont know why you think that way or the context of any of those accusations. I think there are some good reasons that support your perspective. It's reasonable to come at the problem saying its unsustainable, or not fair, or not safe, or too expensive, or simply against the law and to enforce it. compared to saying they are all violent criminals and rapists and ms13, they are vermin and an infestation. Words and framing matter. With better framing, it would have been easier to pass something.

Actually, I look back to LBJ who started the ball rolling, and a ball rolling down hill gains momentum much more easily than one being rolled up hill. Federal debt was $353,720,253,841.41 on 06/30/1969, 5 months after LBJ left office.

Obama divided the country and highlighted the race issue by being black and getting elected. Trump just takes advantage of the widespread racism of the country.
 
BOTH President Trump and the Dems are "dividing" us.

1. President Trump's rhetoric at times has been irresponsible.

a. He publicly admitted that he would prefer immigrants from Norway instead of certain other countries.


i. That is a comment that he should have kept to himself.



2. The Dems, for their part, are being disingenuous.


a. They know very well that institutionalized racism is dead.


b. They also realize, however, that the Caucasian voter bloc is quickly shrinking.


c. So they have cynically decided to ride the "racism" mantra to victory next year.


i. And I think that they may succeed.
