Why do most white evangelicals vote Republican?

Exactly. The bible can be made to say whatever the believer needs it to say to line up with their own beliefs. Hence the thousands of sects of Christianity.

We hate Christians who demand their beliefs become laws forced upon everyone else, in direct opposition to the entire point of the first amendment.

The rest, I have little interest in. If people want to call themselves followers of Jesus Christ while simultaneously raging against everything Jesus stood for, that's really not my business.

No, in fact anyone who bases politics on Christian morality is not a fascist by definition since fascism is a modernist philosophy

Same sex “couples” have no right to marry because they cannot contract a valid marriage. Marriage is not between two members of the same sex. It would be like saying squares have a right to be circles

The reason is simple. Evangelicals did vote for Trump 80-16 over Hillary. All protestants voted for Trump 59-35, Catholics for Trump 50-46, Mormons 56-28, all other Christians for Trump 54-43. The only other major religious group, Jews went to Clinton 74-23. Atheist and those with no religion, to Clinton 67-25.

The perception exists that the Democratic Party is out to destroy the Christian religion especially among Evangelicals. The Democrats are pro-abortion, they take the ten commandments out of the court houses, put a stop to prayer in the schools, Coddle the LBGT community and promote or take the side of the Muslim religion over Christianity, try to take crosses out of cemeteries, among a host of other things. The biggest reason, Trump is pro-life. This isn't rocket science. As shown, this isn't just white evangelicals either.

You can tie this support to the Republican Party directly to Roe v Wade in 1973. Jimmy Carter in 1976 received 41% of the white Evangelical vote, it has been down hill for any democratic presidential nominee since. You want white Evangelical support, let the Democratic Party become a pro-life party. It really is that simple.

Why is it Christians are always so ignorant of what's actually in the bible? Is it because they always take someone else's word for what to think? Kind of like taking Trump's word instead of thinking for themselves? Anyways, on to the adultery.

They support Trump because Trump appoints conservative judges. It's as simple as that. You can bet SCOTUS isn't done with the abortion issue.
 
Christians support an already outdated, obsolete belief system which the want to conserve.


So they vote for a conservative party and figurehead.


Christians know Trump isn't one of them but will conveniently ignore that if he just says he is.

Where do you think fascism got it's ideas from? The persecution of "heretics" by the church was the basis for the holocaust.

These values are not specific to Christianity. Or any religion, for that matter. These laws are found in every civilization. There's a reason for that, and it's not God.

And those laws persist in all of them, with no correlation to Christianity whatsoever. Even societies with no discernible major religious belief have these laws.
