So we have a President who tweeted out that she is a fraud, a liar, and a bad person, then his crazy followers start harassing her and sending her threats, and now she requires a 24/7 security detail 10 days after a mass shooting happened in her city! SAD! Turns out Trump is worse than a bully.

The Dayton Daily News reports Trump after his Aug. 7 visit called a news conference Mayor Nan Whaley held with Ohio’s Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown “a fraud.” Whaley responded in an interview with CNN that Trump is a “bully and a coward.”

The newspaper reports it reviewed dozens of messages regarding Whaley that contained abusive language and expletive-laced insults.

The messages prompted city officials to assign Whaley the police security detail.

Dayton Mayor Receives Threats After Comments From President Trump

Trump's comments didn't cause the death threats. The people who sent the death threats are responsible.

That would be like me blaming the mayor of Dayton for death threats Trump may have received for her comments the week before Trump and the mayor sparred on twitter.

Follow along:
Mayor Nan Whaley described Trump's rhetoric as painful to many in her community ahead of the president's scheduled visit.

"I'm disappointed with his remarks," Whaley said. "He mentioned gun issues one time. I think watching the president over the last few years on the issue of guns, I'm not sure he knows what he believes."

The 43-year-old Democrat also took a jab at Trump sharing prayers for "those who died in Toledo" near the end of a 10-minute televised speech Monday.

"I've heard that he's coming Wednesday, but I have not gotten a call," she told reporters. "And, you know, he might be going to Toledo, I don't know."

Who is Nan Whaley? Dayton mayor rises with criticism of Donald Trump

If you believe the mayor of Dayton doesn't have crazy twitter followers, I have a bridge to sell you.

Except only one has crazy supporters. Her comments would not incite anybody to send death threats to Trump. It's been recorded that Trump's messages direct others to incite violence.

Violence just seems to 'magically' follow Trump around.

Maybe because the vast majority of Trump supporters believe they have a close personal relationship with a magical invisible being? Kind of like Santa Claus, but even more far fetched.

The world according to NeverTrump who chooses to live in a self-made world of intellectual dishonesty;
The Hill on Twitter: "Mayor of Dayton Nan Whaley: "[President Trump's] rhetoric has been painful for many in our community and I think the people should stand up and say they're not happy if they're not happy that he's coming."… https://t.co/WNx7MYCr8f"

The good mayor brought these attacks onto herself. Does she really delude herself into believing that she is the mayor of only those who oppose the POTUS?

So Antifa is Obamas, then?

I mean...to remain logically consistent.

But how do we know Trump himself didn't make the ALLEGED death threats???

He is LITERALLY Hitler after all.

I mean, it's not like some sleazy, pandering politician no one's ever heard of would create a circus just to improve her visibility, right?

That NEVER happens.

Never ever.

When Castro republished the names of Trump's donors, Republican ranted that he was inciting violence. Of course, that was nonsense because as nevertrump accurately states, one side has just about all the crazies.

Dayton police say there were no specific threats directed toward Whaley.

Puts the word threat in article title. Incredible journalism.

Only someone so far from reality would think just about all the crazies in this country are right wing.

Pffft. They're nothing compared to Trump supporters.

Neo-Nazis Praise Trump's Charlottesville Reaction: 'He Loves Us All'

But then she didn't publicly defend Neo Nazis and the KKK, and tell the world that some are "very fine people".

Just about all the really violent ones are. Who would you rather invoke the anger of? The side that murders people and drives them into hiding, or the side that'll egg your house and graffiti your driveway?

Of the five worst mass shootings in the USA, exactly zero have been due to any political motivation at all. Well other than a seemingly closeted gay Muslim killing a bunch of people at a gay club.

Answer the question: who would you rather invoke the anger of?

a)Right wing extremists, or
b)Left wing extremists?

If you deflect from the question, I'll take that as a de facto selection of b)

That's a stupid question, seeing as the vast majority of people in these groups don't commit violence.

Choice b it is.

I'm beginning to believe that with the inevitable passage of the red flag law, cultists should be the first on the list to have their firearms confiscated...

Of course I an not serious, I am opposed to any gun control including the Brady bill...
