i think that an impeachment effort would be hopeless, as the senate would not vote to convict no matter what he has done.

I'll grant that it certainly wouldn't be as racist and divisive. And it would have a hell of a lot better business record. And it wouldn't be telling the world to put their trust in Putin and Russia, and not the USA.

That is human nature given that all decisions is life are revisited, especially when they turn out to be the wrong decision. After seeing what Trump has done, even cockroach Hillary would have been better.

It is like being shipwrecked on an island for 6 months with an ugly mature woman and a beautiful 13-year old and feeling strong desire to make love but knowing that at some point you will be found and be taken back to civilization. Do you go for the ugly mature woman that will make you lose your sanity, go for the beautiful 13-year old that will cause you to lose your freedom, or abstain and hope you are found soon? None are good choices.

I think Fox News is a serious problem in shaping the modern GOP, and they obviously race bait. Tucker many other of their talking heads promote racism and white supremacist concepts constantly on that channel.

On a serious note though. Hillary had one thing going for her and that was her humanity. She proved that over and over again by fighting for women and children. We would never have gone into WWIII. That is just a fantasy for you.

Trump on the other hand does not have one single redeeming quality. With him, WWIII is a definite possibility. All that needs to happen is for Kim or one of the Ayatollah's in Iran to give him the middle finger, and the nukes will be flying.

Efforts? I could understand that if he had given middle-class america a tax cut, other than that most of the stuff he's done does not help the average american. Does reducing regulations on pollution help the average american. Higher prices through his tariffs help the average american. How about trying to do away with pre-existing conditions in healthcare? That help the average american? His promise for a wall and bigger, better, cheaper health care for all, I'm still waiting.

That is the biggest problem with congress - of the 535 congress critters one may vote for (or against) only 3 of them.
