So after listening to some of the dare I say 'highlights' of our president's latest 'rally', it's obvious he is the entertainer. Billy Joel move over you've been put on the shelf like another can of beans.

I can't help but wonder when I watch his rallies, who's more off the deep end? Him for telling the lies he does or his base who believe him?

The party of love? Did I hear that correctly? Did he actually say that or are my ears failing me?

Hmm... were those "highlights" carefully selected by and presented to you by MSNBC and/or CNN?

Yeah he said that in the same rally where he dared insult an overweight supporter - he thought the supporter was a protestor. The orange tub of lard told the supporter to get out and start exercising. Party of love.

His supporters love how hateful he is ... they say it's refreshing and honest ... he is proud of how hateful he is ... then he and his supporters whine and attack when others are less than complementary about the slug.

And now ... trying to sell "party of love".

P.s., I don't insult fat people for being fat. But I do gleefully point out that the orange slimewad is obese. I would generally feel bad for a 73 year old who is out of shape and losing his mental faculties and humiliates himself. I would usually feel great sympathy for such a person. Sometimes I catch myself feeling a little bad for Trump because he seems so hurt and lost sometimes. But then I remember what a complete asshole he is and that he has earned every bit of negativity which comes his way.

Who's more off the deep end? You...for letting this get under your skin. Trump lives rent-free in your brain.

Ah, so that's makes them what? It's not like they are making up what our president is saying I watched with my own eyes our president saying these things.

Why does the right always seem to forget there is instant on demand replay of what our president says.

How much time did our president spend talking about the recent mass shootings? Or was his plugging the now subpoenaed lewandowski as a maybe to run for senator in new hampshire more important?

The (unnamed) source of his rally "highlights" likely told him that he should be upset and he obediently complied. He is simply accepting truth over facts like a good partisan lemming.

Don't be an ass. Trump's the President. This is a political discussion site. Criticising the President is what's done here.
If that gets under your skin, maybe there's a site that only allows right-whinge praise of Cheeto Mussolini.

Priceless. Trump inserts himself into my brain and the brain of every other american who watches the news.

His need for attention has no limits.

Carefully selected "highlights" (aka sound bites).

His whole rally is a sound bite. It's nothing but an attack on his perceived enemies.

That (bolded above) is simply not true - it also contains a whole lot of bragging about Trump's accomplishments.

Trump isn't doing the inserting...well, actually he does when he's trolling you...it's the Trump hating media that is doing the inserting when they make **** up about him. And they do that MUCH more than Trump's trolling.

Place the blame where it belongs...the Trump hating media and your brain.

Is that what our president is doing? Trolling? Well that deserves another term dontcha think?

I can agree with that statement, my bad.

You might also examine how much time is spent by demorat POTUS candidates "attacking their perceived enemies" if that truly upsets you (rather than only when Trump does so).

Of course, he does some trolling, though not everything he says is trolling. When he does troll, his targets deserve it. And yes...for that reason and many more reasons, he deserves another term.

Congrats, you made it through a whole post without calling him a racist.

He is not obese, he is vertically challenged for his weight. Cut him some slack.

yes, bragging and attacking is what Trump's speeches are all about. His base is entertained and energized by all the bragging and attacking, while his detractors realize that most of what he says is total nonsense. Even a lot of his admirers realize that most of what he says is a lot of hooey, but they still hang on his every word.

Trump has totally turned around the Republican Party. They once stood for things, like strong families, free trade, strong alliances, against deficits, for limited central government. Now, they've become the opposite of that. The GOP is now the POT, Party of Trump, and it has indeed gone to pot.

“So after listening to some of the dare I say 'highlights' of our president's latest 'rally', it's obvious he is the entertainer. Billy Joel move over you've been put on the shelf like another can of beans.”

An astute observation. Had you ever listened to Trump before, you would have observed the same and arrived at no different a conclusion, I'm sure.

“I can't help but wonder when I watch his rallies, who's more off the deep end? Him for telling the lies he does or his base who believe him?”

They’re simply following their courageous leader off the deep end. His lies are the Emperors new clothes that his base sees as finery, though simple observation sees that Trump is naked. I don't get them all so wrong, though. They don’t care that he lies. To them, they are at war against the left and lying is a just part of the battle to win. Lying, like greed, is good.

“The party of love? Did I hear that correctly? Did he actually say that or are my ears failing me?”

Trump lies. Pathologically. He says things to make people believe something that is not so for his own benefit. It's all about The Donald.

I agree with you about Trump, but to try to assert that extends to all republicants is simply partisan hackery. There are variations among individual republicants just as there are variations among individual demorats.

I know you're being sarcastic. But I would. I really would cut him some slack. If he weren't so unrelenting in spewing his hypocritical bile.

I don't like hating people. I don't like feeling humiliated by what an ugly cowardly insecure self-serving hypocritical ignorant dictator-loving bully we have in the White House. I wish he would exhibit a single redeeming quality -- something for me to hold onto. Even Obama gave us something to hold onto when we were frustrated with him. (With Obama we could always fall back on "he's a good family man" even if we couldn't think of anything else.) But Trump doesn't have it in him. Just hate and more hate interlaced with his wrecking ball domestic and international "policy".

I object. Giving pot a bad name it doesn't deserve.

Obama wore a tan suit. Talk about vile. Far worse than anything our current president has done.
