Israel obeys rump's orders to bar entry of two congresswomen!

Israel barring Tlaib, Omar from entering country, Israeli official says - The Boston Globe
Israel now takes orders from Trump and bars two of the women Trump considers his enemies from going entering Israel. I think that the Dem controlled House should keep funds from the budget from going to Israel until they allow the women's entry. We provide over 10 billion dollars a year in aide to Israel and for them to obey Trump's orders in reason enough to cut off these funds and since the House has control of most of the purse strings they can do so. I would thin that even the loyal Trumpsters would see how wrong this is for both Trump and Israel, but of course they won't. They have their heads so far up, well you understand what I mean, that they will never disapprove of anything stupid that Trump does.
 
Perhaps we are looking at this the wrong way.

We used to argue that most US politicians were lapdogs for anything Israel wanted, perhaps the direction of influence has changed.

For the safety of AOC and Hijab Omar, they shouldn't be allowed in Israel. They might incite a riot or an attack. If college campuses can ban conservatives, you bet a country can ban two hate mongers who might incite a potential terrorist attack.

Well, Tanngrisnir, when someone prays to their God asking that the world's eyes be opened to the evil of another country, or intimates that the only reason someone supports that country in its struggle for its existence is because they are being bribed to do so, I am not given to believe it is out of love for that country.

Israel already has enough hate going on there, why would they want to have more visit?

The struggle for its existence for Israel is long gone. They used to be the oppressed and now they are the oppressors. Many Americans including myself used to be their supporters, but that is beginning to change as Israel takes more and more land from the Palestinians in the form of settlements. Soon they will have pushed the Palestinians off off of all the land on the West Bank into surrounding Arab neighbors. Then boohoo when the Arab states or some Americans with ties in that area complain.

Strange how much has changed in less than 3 years of Trump’s presidency that Americans aren’t shocked (or at least, surprised) that our president spoke out against fellow American elected officials, asking an allied nation to prohibit those duly elected American officials from entering their country.

Trump and Netanyahu are disgraces to their countries.

Bibi and the people of Israel would be wise to recongize that the Trump era is coming to an end. Whether voted out in 2020, or term-limited in 2024, this foreign policy is not going to continue forever. Future presidents and historians will not look back kindly upon the Israeli policy during the Trump era. In fact, future presidents (regardless of party) wil be tasked with fixing the damage and destruction left by the current admiinstration.

Even most jewish Americans are embarrassed by Bibi regime in Israel.

Your propaganda is worse than Pravda's was under the USSR. The actions of Israel being opposed by people with any morals - which I understand you do not understand - have nothing to do with Israel's "struggle for its existence". And the government of Israel does have an extremely powerful lobbying program that has our politicians largely serving them over what's right and the American people.

This is why most American Jewish people oppose many of these Netenyahu policies, for example, a majority supporting things like removing all or some settlements in a peace deal.

People who want good things for Jewish people, who are for Israel existing safely and thriving, and also oppose wrongs done by Israel, are falsely attacked with lies about 'hating Israel' and wanting Israel to be destroyed, by the people who support the wrongs.

They have disgraced themselves by cheapening the horror of the holocaust, by invoking it constantly to defend any wrongs they do. It's like a rape victim who becomes a chronic shoplifter who says anyone who opposes her shoplifting has no respect for rape victims and is a woman hater.

Because I remember you saying a while back one of the things that you made fun of conservatives for is believing Israel has a right to exist. I would like to know from what angle you are approaching this. Morality or personal malice disguised as morality.

The neo-cons were Isreal's enablers. Now all there is is Trump. Trump doesn't really care about Israel. He just thinks it's political beneficial for him.

Israel can't just continue it's immoral behavior regarding the Palestinians. They need to follow international law and return the land they annexed. Let the extremist settlers live under Palestinian rule.

To be fair, Israel has had this anti-bds law on the books long before they were elected. Israeli media is saying that Netanyahu was initially going to allow them in, but lawyers questioned even he even had the authority to do so, as it's pretty clear and no exemptions warranted.

So, just think of Netanyahu following his own country's laws.

When you say can't, do you mean shouldn't?

They can, I suspect, as long as nothing stops them, while we continue to fully support the wrongs and oppose the law and what's right. Hence the boycott movement to try to create some pressure to do the right thing - while our politicians, serving Israel, try to criminalize the boycotts, attacking Americans' rights.

Well, there you go - you are the problem as much as anyone who wants the 'destruction of Israel'. You are attacking the rights and freedoms of those millions of people as much as people who want to deny the millions of Jewish people who want a state are attacking their rights, and you deserve opposition as much as people who want to 'destroy Israel' do.
