Fox News poll: Trump disapproval rises to near record | TheHill

President Trump's disapproval rating has jumped to 56 percent in a Fox News survey released Wednesday, just one point shy of the record high in Fox News polling.

The survey found a 5 percentage point increase in Trump's disapproval from last month. The only time his disapproval rating was higher, according to Fox News, was when it reached 57 percent in October 2017.

Forty-three percent of respondents said they approve of Trump's job performance, down from 46 percent last month. The record low for Trump approval in Fox News's polling is 38 percent, also from October of 2017.

Trump has the disapproval of a record number of men, at 53 percent, white men, 46 percent, and independents, 64 percent, according to the survey.

As in many polls, 53-57% of the public appears to have nothing but contempt for Trump, and is ready to vote him out of office, while another 41-44% continue to support him, largely based on the economy. There are a few polls that have resulted in 53% of respondents wanting to vote against Trump in the next election, which is an awful metric for any incumbent, and impossible numbers to win with on election day.

His disapproval with men and independents is in the ****ter at 2017 levels. My guess is that all of the racist statements, mental meltdowns, and PR stunts with mass shooting victims, finally had an effect on his approval numbers.

Keep in mind that this was done before the recent economic news.

Hey, he gave Christmas back to electronics shoppers, and now he might finally have reached the point where he'll take what China is willing to agree to and call it a win.

He'll bounce back to his previous barely dismal poll numbers and keep hope alive for another electoral triumph of the minority over the majority.
 
The utterly amazing thing about Trump is approval ratings would be in the twenties were he anybody else with all the scandals and misbehavior. There is a good 30% of the country who will take anything the man does and never disapprove of it. If Trump did the worst thing imaginable it would have no effect on the deplorables who simply are glad to have one of their own in charge.

Trump and his PACs have raised over $233 million with 61% of that money from small donations under $200. That is up from Obama's 43% in 2012 and Joe Bidens current 38% and Kamala Harris 41%.

All 20 Democrats have only pulled in $209 million COMBINED.

Not really seeing this disapproval thing your talking about.
 
Rasmussen and Harris have I'm at about 54%, so assuming those polled were the same political demographic the FOX poll is in that same neighborhood.

And? Weve gone over this. Hes been campaigning for the last two years. Your numbers mean nothing. Hrc outspent trump and outraised trump and lost.

In fact hes still running an anti Hillary campaign.

I don't know.

Most seem doubtful that China wants to agree to anything with Trump at the wheel. China has a much higher tolerance for economic pain and now Trump has made it clear that he has a very low tolerance for it, so they are going to think carefully at either waiting his term out, or make him come back on his knees.

The market is way overdue for a correction and it seems doubtful Trump can stop it.

Exit polls mirrored national polls one last time around and now they're worse. This is FOX, not the NYT, so don't cry "bbb... bias!" because this is one of the best polls for him.

It's amazing how now it's the Republicans that are getting overconfident and ignoring the bad numbers for Trump, just like Clinton did in 2016. They think they are "teflon" and that it's impossible to beat them with Trump on the ticket.

Nobody explained anything. The numbers speak for themselves. No explanation was required. It isn't magic. What is funny is how you Liberals scream for months about FAUX news until you find something you agree with and out of nowhere and all of a sudden become legit.

Well, how many of them have retired? Countless. They know the party has been forever changed. It's become anger and rage manifest, a grotesque menagerie of racism, bigotry, chauvinism, oligarchy, science denial, theocracy and whatever else have you they know they're an extinct breed in the age of "dent everything and simply keep on the blinders."
