Trump Rasies More Donations Than All Democratic Rivals Combined

Trumps admin is at 2 trillion. Not that it is a good thing it has the economical numbers to support it. Coming from 10 trillion and a stagnated economy its a pretty good surge forward. For now.

That looks like your totally clueless. Have you ever heard of the 'boom and bust' cycle?

LOL, yeah. What I have found out is there is a lot of rhetoric bashing Wall Street and corporate donors, but done so with a wink and a nod. I had to laugh after 2008 when OWS did there thing blaming the Republicans. if they looked Wall Street donated 79 million to Obama, 65 million to McCain. Lobbyist were worst 81 million to Obama, 22 million to McCain. Overall Obama out raised McCain 800 million to 250 million.

We tend to believe the rhetoric and not the numbers. I'd not be surprised at all to find out once open secrets delves into the 2020 election cycle to find out Warren had accepted millions from Wall Street whom she rags over the coals. As for Buttigieg, perhaps people are looking for someone who isn't a political hack tied to the establishment? I don't know. Buttigieg is averaging only around 8% of the potential Democratic national vote at this point in time. Not really a contender. That could change. It's been pretty much the big three, Biden, Sanders and Warren with Harris in fourth trying to catch up.

My personal opinion, Biden is the only shot they have. Warren, Sanders, and Harris have way to much baggage and are much to far left. Biden would be able to secure those on the fence voters and even the far left voters as they would never even consider a Trump vote. I don't think Biden could beat Trump but again, crazier things have happened and who am I to be able to foresee anything. I never thought Trump would have made it through the primaries.

“On the fence” voters don’t exist. The pretense of playing to this non-existent center needs to stop.

Clueless about what. If you're going to make claims please be specific.

Trump winning the nomination became clear that he would after the New Hampshire Primary. Winning the general election was a surprise. Everything had to go perfect for him, the earth, moon, the sun, planets and even galaxies had to align perfectly.

I didn't care who won, voted against both Trump and Clinton. In fact I went to bed around 10PM election night.I was really surprised Trump won. Not shocked as I knew he had around a 30% shot, but nonetheless, I didn't expect it. I had already steeled myself resigned myself to four years of Hillary Clinton.

The significance of the number of small donations reveals two things:

1. The Trump organization has figured out how to contact the "small" donors. This scares the living crap out of the Democrat Socialists.

2. The "small" donors are numerous and favorably impressed.

The obvious expectation raised by these two significant facts is that the Dem-Soc nominee is about to suffer an outcome similar to McGovern or Mondale. The only question left is how significant their defeat will be.

It does?
It amazes me how people know all about what scares the other side of the spectrum.
Got any proof to back that up?

Trump and his PACs have raised over $233 million with 61% of that money from small donations under $200. That is up from Obama's 43% in 2012 and Joe Bidens current 38% and Kamala Harris 41%.

Since the time that all 20 Democratic candidates started fundraising in 2019, all 20 Democrats have only pulled in $209 million COMBINED.

The American people are demanding a secure border, demanding an end to the exploitative and unfair trade policies, demanding an end to an unresponsive swamp culture, against taxing American's to provide free healthcare to Illegals, while expanding the base to "today's blue-collar and working Americans.

This is a little misleading since that's Trump's figures since he kicked off his re-election in 2017 and the Democratic candidates in just 2019. In 2019, the Democrats have a little under twice as much as Trump. But money certainly doesn't mean everything.

Also, none of it means much of anything before the primary.

The difference was I didn't have a horse in that race. I started off backing Jim Webb. But he didn't campaign. Then it was John Kasich for a spell until New Hampshire, then I just didn't give an owls hoot.

Yes, pretty much everyone I know who isn't retired has a job. Do you or anyone you know have a point?

If you have a job and you are aware of your income and the taxes taken from you, then you know that your tax confiscation was reduced and that you are enjoying greater freedom in how to spend that increased amount of net income.

Are you aware of your income and the taxes you paid?

If not, could I sell you anything? ;) I always enjoyed dealing with folks who didn't understand value and self interest...

Those wage rises are barely keeping pace with inflation. Hardly a cause for celebration, wouldn't you agree?

For most Americans, real wages have barely budged for decades | Pew Research Center

What I agree with is that something beats nothing every time.

"Wages barely keeping pace with inflation" is French for "Wages are rising faster than inflation".

We're back to understanding language again.

As an aside, the British pound has "slumped" against the Dollar. If your income is not UP by about 40%, your purchasing power in Britain is way, way down vs 2014.

Summer 2014, your Pound was worth $1.70. Now it's worth $1.21. That's down half a buck vaporized per pound in only a few years. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot?

Might be time to turn your incisive critique to the problems suffered on your own shores.

See post#36.

So your purchasing power has decreased by 40% in a few years while mine has increased by about 3% over the same period.

I'll ask you again to compare the slumping economy in Britain to the Trump economy.

Maybe Biden can help you all when he negotiates deals with Margaret Thatcher...

Its going to be a great election day. Can't wait to here from the Liberals how he won this time.

The other day, one of the slandering, posturing, morons running for the Democrat Socialist Nomination referenced the Russians again.

It's really gone past the point of ridiculous.

The overwhelming benefits of your presidents tax law were rich folks. Additionally, trump has proven himself incapable of helping working class americans. Those folks arent doing better. They're simply working 2 or 3 jobs.

Your president is trash, your ideology is evil and your perspective is unamerican. The economy is not working for everyone.

Do any facts ever penetrate you shield of blind, hate filled ideologies?

It does?
It amazes me how people know all about what scares the other side of the spectrum.

I'm sorry. It was only an assumption.

It's possible, judging by their prescriptions for the country, that they are so stupid that this does not scare them.

You have raised an excellent point.

I'm voting against Trump and I make more money than you do.

I'm retired. I appreciate your donations to the Ponzi Scheme that supports me.

Stopped reading at "tax confiscation."

with 61% of that money from small donations under $200

Boy, I would like to see what the other 39% are paying?

Would it be like the top 10% paying about 60% of all Fed income tax for example?
