Victims of Epstein upset???

i always thought the greatest payback of a person that hurt you is that he is dead!!! i know maybe you wanted to strangle him.. but the thing is if he went to court that would not hurt him and all he would do after that is sit in jail with all his money possibly a nice jail!!! so why are his victims upset that he is dead???

Because he wont be found guilty of the charges against him. People who he wronged wanted their day in court and now they wont get it

Because he chose his own way out (assuming he really committed suicide). I mean, it's not for nothing that Hitler killed himself after seeing all his armies thoroughly defeated by Allied powers, but it just didn't have the same punch as if he had been dragged in front of an international tribunal.

As well as the fact that without his testimony, it is now materially less likely that the many other powerful people involved in his child sex trafficking will be brought to justice.

You must understand victim mentality in terms of sexual assault and rape, you would be hard pressed to find any sexual assault victim given his circumstances who would want him dead, in jail yes but dead no. Seriously when we think sticking a penis in someone against their will should equal death then we have fallen to soviet style punishment mentality.

In a democracy like we have justice should be served and the punishment should fit the crime, not go leaps and bounds ahead of it.

Because now he won't live out the rest of his life in jail, where people are generally not kind to pedophiles. Because now he can't name names. Because (most likely) some vengeful prison official took justice into his own hands by taking him off suicide watch not long after he attempted suicide. For any number of reasons. It's kind of hard to speculate when you don't bother to quote any of these victims.

Whoa there. A victim of rape has a "victim mentality"? It isn't just "oh, there was a penis in me that I didn't like." It's dehumanizing in a way that being beaten to a pulp isn't. Unless we dive into morbid torture scenarios, it's one of the worse things that can be done to a person, and it isn't the kind of thing people get over.

The problem is though people like you are assuming what victims feel and not letting victims speak for themselves. Even then rape is not equal to death, and finding death fitting is overkill for the crime.

Seriously, think about what you just said. You attack rape victims by saying they suffer from a "victim mentality." I point out that that's ****ed. And your response is to.....

....to tell me that I'm the one making assumptions and not letting people speak for themselves? I'm basing that on what victims of rape have said, which I have read, over the course of my life. I honestly am baffled by what your motive in this might be.

Victim mentality is just that, the mentality of a victim, unkess you are a victim you can not claim to understand them or represent them. I watched enough with my time across the world to know opinions are different. experiences are different, and the world does not revolve arounde what people think others should believe but actually what others believe.

I do, and I won’t. She’s dead now, from an overdose. She was raped by two men for hours. It destroyed her life. She was my sister.

You may find this hard to believe but some people (even victims of horrible violence) never wish physical harm upon others.

Besides, wouldn't he be worth more (information wise) alive than dead. Like supposedly there are potentially unsolved crimes and or other criminals (yet unknown to authorities) involved with him.

Even if he was put to death by the government many years later, he would have been given the chance to make a deathbed confession.

I agree with your statement, he was part of human trafficking, he likely has many connections, many underage girls used as sex slaves and prostitutes, and him talking to uncover such a network would have been the most valuable thing of all, not just sitting trial for his crimes but also helping to stop much bigger crimes as well, being dead though he can not stand trial nor ever provide evidence on other trafficking networks he may have used or known.
