It's time to purge the right wing from the internet

Google and Facebook and big tech companies are now bound by the first amendment and aren't required to give anyone a platform. After the racist genocide we have now seen in El Paso, I think it has now become indefensible to allow hate to be propagated on the internet like it is.

And I'm not just talking about the Stormfronts and VDAREs. There is also right pundits that disguise white supremacy with language like "securing the border". They all need to get disappeared ASAP. Anyone who is paying attention knows that racism and xenophobia is very core of the GOP, and such a party should not have an online platform to spread their hate.

You ID as liberal but you don't sound liberal or left at all, you sound rather authoritarian.
The Left has its very own form of hardcore authoritarianism, always has.

It is much more difficult to actually be left/liberal than it is to be conservative.

Yes of course big tech is invested.
The recent deflation in private prison stocks was due to so much backlash that eight major banks announced they would be eliminating or limiting the kind of loans that they would be willing to give to the industry.

That doesn't mean that the industry can't find some kind of money shop to help them but it means it will become more expensive to do so. What has to happen is that government needs to be honest with itself and admit that private prisons don't save money (they COST MORE) or do their job any better (they're WORSE).

Are you really suprised? It has been like this for a few years back. Any disagreement with the Left is considered to be racist and in service to the patriarchy. Hell, asking someone to have an ID to vote is considered racist which is weird because the same people say our elections are insecure and need to be protected.

I think you underestimate how much right-wing hate media has destroyed political discourse and has brainwashed a bunch of baby boomer white men that the media are a bunch of socialists who want to destroy all that is good in the world.

You can't eliminate Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, but you can use progressive companies like Google and Facebook to make sure lying right wing commentators have no platform for their bigotry. I'd start with Ben Shapiro myself (who inspired the Christchurch shooter).

I disagree with your views that right wing people should be yanked off the social media websites. While I agree with people being kicked off who are in open groups and breaking the rules of that social media site, but views that are not popular on one of the 2 sides of the political arena should not be removed just because they say something you do not like. Saying simply that you support BLM or Blue lives matters of support the border is not a view that can simply lead to being kicked off social media.

You are trying to prevent something by creating an even bigger injustice IMHO.
