I wonder how many Trump supporters are racist?

So you can read minds eh. Congratulations. Did you have that super power since you can remember, or did it come later in life?

LOL. Says the guy who is confident that racists know they are racists even though they deny it. How did you come to know what they know?

And you've invented a new rule for Logic, "The Exception that Proves the Rule"! So when you're wrong, you're right! It's like you can read Trump's mind.....oh.... I forgot......you can!

You should head straight down to the Philosophy department at the nearest University, and tell them all about your research. I'm sure they would love to hear all about it.

Exactly backwards. It is a fact that the number of people who declare themselves to be racist is astonishingly small. I take that to mean they do not believe themselves to be racist. Occam's razor. You assume they are lying and that you can delve into their minds that know what they "really" think.

Exactly. Unlike you I don't claim to read their minds and know what they're thinking. I don't claim to know what they're thinking, I try to glean what they think based on their actions.

Your post tells us that kind of nuanced thinking is clearly beyond you.

It is a fact that the number of people who declare themselves to be racist is astonishingly small.

But you just said no one ever does that:

No one ever says, "I am racist".

No surprise, when you're trying to deny reality and pretend Trump isn't a blatant racist, you're going to be forced to make nonsensical arguments and contradict yourself like this.

Next.

I go off the action that they say they are not racist to indicate they do not think they are racist. What actions tell you they think themselves to be racist? Is it the mere fact of supporting Trump? You underestimate the power of political partisanship which I think is perfectly able to explain the support for Trump by people who do not believe themselves to be racist.

But you just said no one ever does that:
Fair enough. It was an overgeneralization. Anther sin you condemn in me even as you happily engage in yourself.

I doesn't mater if they have hoods or think they're open mined, their actions speak louder than whatever thoughts motived them to choose a racist to represent them...

Thank you for admitting your premise was wrong. In other words, your argument is not sound, and is thus invalid.

Really? After I proved your argument was invalid, after you admitted your argument was invalid (see above), that's your best argument? What's next, you gonna call me a poopie head? :lamo

What a bunch of hooey answers as none of them are answers, they are deflects. You are fast losing the appeal of being someone to converse with.

They seem like hooey to you because they are logic based and derived from your posts, not assumption of characteristics to make an argument easier.

Trump has now decided to tell the truth (likely the first time in his presidency) given that he is now playing the race card openly, showing the reality of his racism. Just over the past week he has attacked 4 colored congresswomen and 2 congressmen. That is a total of 6 people that have one thing in common.....they are not White.

It does go to prove that he is a liar given that he has said on several occasions that he is the least racist person that anyone has ever met:

Nonetheless and having said that, it does show that Trump is using the race card to rile his base in his favor. Evidently with the KKK and White Supremacists openly supporting Trump it is evident that he now believes keeping his base intact and on his side is of great importance, especially since his incompetence in being a President continues to be evident every day.

My question is actually addressed to the Trump supporters on this board. I would actually love to know how many of you actually support Trump's racism and racist comments and how many are not in support of racism.

This is your chance to come out of the closet and make it clear to what degree you support Trump in his racism.

As expected but still sad.

Around 12 known Trump supporters have responded to my post and only one of them actually answered the OP question "are you a racist and/or support racism?" The person who answered in the negative was Mycroft but he then recanted his statement when asked to prove it by calling Trump out on his racism. Evidently, he is not racist but does support racists-for-Trump.

Each and every one of these Trump supporters have shown by their lack of an answer to be:

1) racists
2) support racism
3) cowards for not voicing their lack of racism due to fear of being ex-communicated from the Trump cult

There are no other options as anyone that is not racist would generally voice it in no uncertain terms, given than racism is a bad thing in any way you look at it.

We now have proof of racism being alive and fervent among those supporting Trump. No wonder they support him, they too want a White America.

You mean to tell me that asking a person if he is a racist or not is illogical?

You make no sense. You seem to be having a fit of incomprehension.

This is what I mean, my comments which you called hooey were derived largely from your comments and logic. Now you remark your question is logical. You have no ability to discern one comment from another.

Since you don't seem to get it, obviously, I was raised color blind and I am not a racist. But it was interesting to see you dig a hole with your comments.

This is what happens when you don't know logic from assumption. You have no proof of your ****ty, nasty, accusations; just that you want them to be true.

You win. I am illogical and use no logic and assume things.

Happy now?

Given that all of our conversations will end up with you debasing my ability to reason, why do you continue? Do you get pleasure for talking to an illogical person?

I, for one, have no desire to talk to someone that will always and under all conditions be right and me wrong.

Good Bye

My premise is still valid. You've not shown one person besides an anonymous internet persona who admits to being racist.

And I thought you said, "next" as if dismissing me. So why are you still here?

They end like that because you put in no effort, you made an assumption, didn't attempt to gather any proof then when your assumptions were proven wrong, tried to take your ball and go home.

Have an open mind next time.

Yeah, lets try fewer progressives, less outreach, fewer programs and funding cuts. That will do wonders for the condition of our inner cities. Is it any wonder why Don's only option is pandering to white guys resentment of, (add your grievance here)?

We've heard, don't listen to your liberal ears, or believe your lying eyes...

The Democrats have run most of these cities for decades and they have been a cataclysmic failure. Trying to shift the blame elsewhere isn't going to work. They need to own their failures instead of looking for excuses. Playing the race card when you have no defense for your performance is transparent and weak. Most of these Democrats see their positions in these cities simply as sinecures where they can get paid, do nothing, blame somebody else for the problems they create, stoke fears and then get re-elected to begin the cycle again.

Good luck attempting to sell your cuts to the people who live in our urban areas, or do you believe the racist in the WH is actually trying to help people of color? If so I have a bridge for you...

Trump has done as much or more for blacks than Obama. That aside, most of the improvements to these cities have to come about locally from the people on the ground with some Federal help. However, thinking the Federal government can swoop in and perform miracles, is a fantasy. If not, why didn't Obama accomplish anything in 8 years? Oh, and again, the racist schtick is failing.

I don't talk to any blacks or non-whites that share your opinion of Trump. You might think you know otherwise, or better, but they can decide for themselves can't they? I may not understand the lack of patriotism, or racial tolerance that motivates people to select an immoral sleaze to represent them, but I can understand why you might not admit that Obama did more for whites than Trump ever will.

I believe the majority of Trump supporters know all about his history of racism and know full well he's dividing us by race. This might be the white guys last chance to hold onto their majority before all those, (everyone but white guys) make them a minority.

The racist schtick is getting scary and out of hand...

I am not holding my breath but then again if they don't come out and decry his racism it does mean they support it. Simple as that.

Those who deny it the loudest are the worst offenders and the most ardent supporters. "The lady doth protest too much methinks..." to quote the Bard.

What's amusing is that you'd accuse people who support Trump of a lack of patriotism. I'd call agitating for open borders and then insisting that US taxpayers pay for the heathcare of the people who come in, a lack of patriotism. And let's not forget the Russian collusion nonsense cooked up solely to remove a president.

The people fixated on race are the left and they prove it daily, hourly even.

My premise is still valid. You've not shown one person besides an anonymous internet persona who admits to being racist.

When you say or imply "all" in a premise, one instance is all it takes to refute that premise. You even admitted that you had made an "overgeneralization" in your premise.

And I thought you said, "next" as if dismissing me. So why are you still here?

No, I never "dismiss" anyone, except perhaps said in sarcasm. "Next" is shorthand for "What is your next argument." You yourself admitted your first argument was flawed (see above).

Earlier you accused me of
anther sin you condemn in me even as you happily engage in yourself.

And I asked for a link to a post where I do that. You ignored my request.

Again, where is the link? Or are you in the business of making unfounded accusations as part of your debate "strategy"?

The racist schtick is getting scary and out of hand...

Indeed it is.

We had planned on heading South to WA for a week to see friends, but my wife has decided she doesn't want to go. She said she wouldn't feel safe. I can't blame her.

I am not holding my breath but then again if they don't come out and decry his racism it does mean they support it. Simple as that.

Yeah. You're either a racist, or you're willing to support blatant racism for political expediency. I don't see any other option.

Perhaps a Trump supporter could point one out?

Americans siding with Putin over our intelligence agencies is more than any patriot needs to spot a lack of patriotism, or worst.

So one group feels threatened by poor immigrants and refugees looking for sanctuary and work most Americans refuse to do and the other feels threatened by a lackadaisical approach to the country that posses our greatest threat. Which group's fixation is more dangerous?

Not fixated on immigrants, just the ones breaking our laws. Oh, and Russia isn't close to being the threat to us that China is with an economy ten times bigger.

I wonder if Don will visit El Paso and say something of the cuff, not on the teleprompter, that unites all Americans. Trying to pawn off another white nationalist as mentally ill instead of the terrorists they are, just isn't enough.

Note the time of my warning very early on Saturday morning; "Yesterday, 01:56 AM". Eight hours before the first shooting in El Paso. I misspoke, it's not getting out of hand, we're way past that at this point...
