We have a few radical left wingers and borderline crazy democrats in the House like high pants Nadler and Waters that keep screaming impeach Trump. On what grounds.

The fact he kept the criminal her turn serial liar Hillary from becoming president is NOT an impeachable offense. And two just because he tweets and tells the truth about the Washington swamp, is not an impeachable offense either. Oh-----------and the fact you just hate him isnt either.

Take you best shot at a logical common sense reason that he should be impeached.

The justification seems to be three fold. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with every point, but there is substance and it's not "Waaa, we wanted Hillary".

1) Obstruction of Justice
2) Campaign Finance Violations
3) Emoluments Clause - though a federal court recently ruled in his favor.

Mueller's report documents multiple cases of 1 and 2, but as he pointed out, he can't indict a sitting president, only provide us with the facts and evidence he gathered. It's still up to Congress to impeach, and let's face it, presidents have been impeached for much less.

Logic and common sense doesn't seem to work on republicans. If it did, it would be clear trump has done his best to obstruct justice. Instead you folks seem to still be stuck on trump has done nothing illegal. Mueller cleared him. Even though mueller himself said he did not clear the president of any wrongdoing.

Then impeach.

Leftists say they have evidence DJT violated the law. They have been saying this for 3 years. So I say, impeach him.

They can get all their evidence, draw up Articles of Impeachment, vote on it, take it to the Senate for trial.

Then impeach.

I'm all for it, wished it had started months ago. Sadly some of the ***** dems in the house are thinking about their political future instead of the future of america.

Leftists have put themselves between a rock and a hard place.

Legally, they don't need any grounds.. only votes in the house and senate... I don't think he should be impeached but do think an impeachment investigation is appropriate.

Impeachment is merely a charge, the House can put it forth, but it then goes to the Senate to validate and decide on, anything from dropping it, ala Clinton, or to decide on a punishment and if so what. Now, who controls the House and who controls the Senate?

The hard left expressed by AOC + 3, plus the “AOC’s in waiting” have made the democrats feel they are on the run. They have gone public with the democrat wishlist. The problem for the democrats is the social media noise is so loud, they don’t know where they stand with the traditional democrat electorate.

They really have lost control of their party and are going to pay for it at the polls.

I forget which republican House member said it on the run up to Bill Clinton's impeachment, but it went like this. "An impeachable offense is whatever the House says it is." Today Walters and other Democrats are espousing the same mantra against Trump.

If the House has the votes, they could draw up impeachment charges against any president for jay walking or spitting on a sidewalk. All the Constitution says is that a president shall be removed from office on impeachment for and conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors. That last word gives the House pretty much cart blanch when it comes to impeachment charges.

Maybe they need a couple more "impeachment investigations," after that?

House leftists have been calling for impeachment since Nov. 2016. Apparently they have evidence of a crime.

My take was the Democrats set out to destroy Trump the day after the election. Every other president was afforded a honeymoon period after he took office. Not Trump. As for evidence, that in theory doesn't matter as since Bill Clinton whatever an impeachable offense is, is determined by the House.

As to no honeymoon, on the day Trump took office the Democrats gave him only a 12% approval and it has gone down hill since. The Republicans gave Obama a 38% approval when he first took office, Democrats gave G.W. Bush a 32% approval on inauguration day. Republicans gave Bill Clinton a 33%, Democrats gave G.H.W. Bush 38% along with Reagan at 38% when they first took office.

An earlier era of much less partisanship showed the Republicans giving Jimmy Carter a 49% approval on inauguration day, Democrats gave Ford a 68% approval when he took over from Nixon. Democrats even gave Nixon a 45% approval at the end of January 1969, republicans gave LBJ 78% approval when he took over from JFK, 52% of Republicans approved of JFK at the end of January 1961 and Democrats gave IKE a 60% approval when be became president.

What you see is basically no Democrat was willing to give Trump a chance. From Reagan through Obama, at least a third of the opposing party were willing to give each new president a chance. Prior to Reagan, approximately half of the opposing party gave each president a chance. Some more of a chance, some less, but there was an automatic disapproval of any new president unlike the Democrats of Trump.

And just what justice did he obstruct?

How about a deal. If the House voted to impeach, the impeachment goes to the Senate. If he is found innocent, all the democrats that voted for impeachment should resign.

The justification seems to be three fold. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with every point, but there is substance and it's not "Waaa, we wanted Hillary".

1) Obstruction of Justice

There isn't a case for obstruction.

2) Campaign Finance Violations

This isn't an impeachable offence, but, if you want to go that route, Obama also had campaign violations that were significantly higher in total money than Trump. Further, his violation involved actual campaign money while Trump's was his own money.

3) Emoluments Clause - though a federal court recently ruled in his favor.

This case is the weakest out of all of them and, as you've already pointed out, the courts already covered it.

Now there is a straight forward answer (not), no ambiguity there.

Let's face it, trying to convince a trump supporter the president has done anything wrong is like trying to reason with a person who is drunk. No matter how many times a fact is repeated all you get is that thousand mile stare of "I don't understand".
