Racism is no longer just the magical shield of the incompetent and ignorant that protects them from criticism and from exposure to new ideas. Racism is now the puppet of the absurd who are vying for the coveted prize of "Biggest Victim" or the title of "Best Ally to Victims," probably in hopes that the wokie mob eats them last.

And make no mistake, they will gobble up allies who don't toe the most absurd of claims by pointing to them as racist!

So owning a dog is racist if you're white.

People who think Hilter was a filthy racist are racist.

Being pro-life is racist.

Teaching English grammar is racist.

Disney's The Lion King is racist.

Calling Ilhan Omar out for her Antisemitism is racist. It's racist to be critical of the racism of certain people.

Putting a man on the moon was racist.

Calling Communist Chinese "Chicoms" is racist.

Calling North Koreans "Norks" is racist.

Calling out the incompetence of Puerto Rico's governor is racist.

Using the term "illegal aliens" is racist.

ICE is racist.

US Immigration Law is racist.

Picture IDs are racist.

Enforcing laws against voter fraud is racist.

Calling out Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib's ties to the Nation of Islam and its leader Louis Farrakhan is racist.

Supporting Israel is racist.

And I could go on like this forever, which would be racist by the lights of these folks.

I'm so old I can remember when racists really were racist, like LBJ and Woodrow Wilson. I mean to say, racists who said right out loud that non-whites were inferior and only good to be fooled, cheated, and oppressed in whatever way pleased them. They made it a matter of law.

Ever since Trump's latest bout selling racism to his supporters, just about everyone on the right has been very very busy insisting that all accusations of racism are just liberal hoaxes.






You poor, poor conservatives. You make up roughly 50% of the country and you are so handily victimized by the other 50% every time, even though that other 50% is - as you say - utterly incompetent.

And what exactly is the cure other than the obliteration of this culture, its society, and engaging in total iconoclasm of the past and preventing any form of veneration of it? Should anything be preserved? And if so, what?

Racism is extracted from our culture every generation. We continue to improve, to make this truly a country for any free man. We have not reached the mountaintop, and we may never, but we will keep climbing.

To construe progress as destruction is reactionary at best.

I consider it destruction when any anodyne object must be erased from public view and enjoyment because it has been impugned with the taint of racism. For example, the Betsy Ross Flag, created by an abolitionist Quaker woman and our country's first official national flag is now considered a symbol of racism not because of anything she said or did, but because some Klan members waved it around. By that same logic, the Stars and Stripes are racist because the Klan and Neo Nazis wave them around at their gatherings, trying to claim shared national symbols for themselves.

Statues and monuments change all the time. Those put in place to intimidate black people 100 years after the war must be removed or relocated.

To be against change is absurd.

Being against racist monuments to terrorist regimes is not anti American. We don't do ISIS monuments.

I was walking in the parking lot today at work. Suddenly I became aware that 200 years ago, it was likely farmland. In 1819, a white farmer probably walked on the very same land I was walking just then. He walked those steps during a time when slavery was legal. I was complicit because I was re-tracing his very steps in that parking lot, so I ask the democrats for forgiveness.

A quick look at your posting history shows lots of examples of you calling people racist. Surprise twist: they are all liberal democrats...
