[w:281]Im sorry but your race card has been declined

Well of course, not. Y’all say it so much how should I know what’s real (short of just accepting what you say without question)?

This is what you said in post 34:

"I don’t think it fuels racism, necessarily, but it does deepen divisions and it makes instances of true racism be dismissed more easily."

Between that post and your most recent one, did you forget what constituted "instances of true racism?"

I guess I'm just curious what explains your sudden amnesia.

No, it's up to you to explain why any of those things are worse than uncultured behavior.

No it isn't. You asked for some examples of racism. I provided that. You say that isn't racism. It is up to you to explain why it isn't racism. If you refuse to do so, we can all pretty well figure you don't know what racism is and what it isn't. And we can all move on. Yes?

No it isn't. You asked for some examples of racism. I provided that. You say that isn't racism. It is up to you to explain why it isn't racism.

The fact is that you provided basic definitions of racism; not examples of them.

The fact is that you provided basic definitions of racism; not examples of them.

But you said they aren't racism. Not that they aren't examples of racism (which is pretty much a crock). You said they aren't racism.

But okay:

--Denying participation or opportunity or recognition or any other normal human right to a person because of their race, color of skin, or ethnicity.
Example: You refuse to admit a person of your peer group to your club or refuse to allow him to compete for a job or refuse to hire the most qualified person because of his/her race.

--Mocking, denigrating, insulting, and other harmful behavior directed at a person because of their race, color of skin, or ethnicity.
Example: A man, woman, or child is accused of embracing certain repulsive behavior, is insulted, is called "jungle bunny" or "Rastus" and/or is bullied, assaulted, and/or physically attacked or his/her property is damaged or destroyed because he/she is a black person.

--Assuming people of a certain race, color of skin, or ethnicity are incapable or unable to aspire or achieve or accomplish what other people do because of their history and/or the fact that racists exist and therefore must have 'liberal whitey's' help and/or are entitled to special privileges or compensation or forced participation, i.e. victimizing.
Example: A black person is told that he/she should receive reparations because his/her ancestors were or could have been slaves or were subjected Jim Crow laws. Telling that person he/she should be hired or promoted even though less qualified because he/she is disadvantaged and deserves special consideration. Standard are lowered for that person because as a black person he/she should not be expected to qualify for something at the same level others qualify. (The effect of course is to make of black people second class citizens who are incapable of achieving on their own based on nothing other than the color of their skin.)

--Assuming people of a certain race, color of skin, or ethnicity are required to be a spokesperson and advocate for people of that race, color of skin, or ethnicity and vote Democrat or else they are a 'discredit to their race' or whatever.
Example: Asking the black person in the group for his/her perspective from the 'black community." Accusing people with skin color that doesn't qualify as 'white' of being Uncle Toms or 'hanky heads' or sell outs or a discredit to their race if they do not toe the politically correct line as leftists, Democrats and/or when they promote any point of view that is right of center or conservative or libertarian (small "L").

So now it is your turn. Please explain how I am not describing racism and have not provided examples of racism as described.

So now it is your turn. Please explain how I am not describing racism and have not provided examples of racism as described.

Those are hypothetical scenarios; not example of racism that have happened.

This thread is a textbook example of why it is impossible to have a rational, intelligent conversation with a leftist. They are dishonest and intentionally obtuse.

What you described as racism would be a fine definition with examples for any rational, sane individual, but you are not dealing with that with the left. They have become so consumed by their ideology, they have made themselves insane and unable to interact with the real world. That is why they spend most of their time in echo chambers and virtue signalling to each other. It has become rather sad.

Stupid ad hom.

It’s just truth. Here, let’s do a little role play. Let’s replace the word “racist” with any other negative label like say....off the top of my head....oh I don’t know....how about “liar?” Let’s put an “ist” on it to make this analogy work better, so it’s generally understood that a “lieist” is one who lies all the time about everything. If someone called you that constantly, called your positions lieist positions and when you voice disagreement, told you that it’s lieist to deny it, wouldn’t that seem awfully convenient to you? Would you just accept it?

Thank you. You know that. I know that. But for the ideologically and partisan brain washed and/or committed to whatever agenda they have, it is impossible to have a reasoned discussion. I don't know why I try. For the intellectual exercise I suppose.

What amnesia? This thread is bearing out exactly what I said and it is entirely possible that I have dismissed instances of true racism because of folks who use “racism” as to label everything they dislike.

What I've demonstrated is that the people who complain about the use of "the race card" wouldn't be able to recognize racism even where it's happened.

Put the race card back in your pocket... you've not demonstrated anything except that your pov is desperate with intellectual dishonesty.

Which instances of genuine racism have you dismissed?

I declare your statement to be absurd. Do have a pleasant afternoon.

What's curious is how much time you've devoted to describing hypothetical scenarios of racism, but have steadfastly refused to provide real life examples. Why is that?

Which instances of genuine racism have you dismissed?

How would I know if I dismissed them? :lamo

In your zeal to take a dig at me by saying I don’t know what racism is, you actually proved my argument to be accurate.

So many frivolous allegations of racism have made it difficult to identify RL examples?

How would I know if I dismissed them?

But if you have no idea if you've dismissed genuine racism, then you also have no idea if allegations of racism have been legitimate or frivolous this whole time.

Your argument boils down to "I'm right because I'm ignorant."

Weird, right? Where I thought you were going earlier was trying to get me to post an obvious example of true RL racism, like singling out a black person for violence because they’re black, then being all, “See? It hasn’t obscured true racism.” That would have been a much more difficult argument for me to counter.

We've already established that you can't think of real life examples of racism. What you've admitted is interesting though. You said you can't identify racism, therefore other people must be wrong.

Your argument is "I don't know anything therefore I'm right."

It's a unique debate tactic. How do you think it's going to work for you?

The sad thing is they keep on using it just the same, and thereby dilute and trivialize racism so that many no longer understand what real actual racism is and how destructive it is.

The race card isn't played to counter racism, it's to silence people who don't have the "proper" political views.

Radical left democrats cant play if they didnt have their race card. Everyone now knows it is worthless.

If you call out the stupid use of the race card, the dealers call you racist. Nothing proves your post true, better.

"Im sorry but your race card has been declined"

No problem, the ASSHOLE cards have been selling like hotcakes.
Apparently a growing number of Americans are sick and tired of this country being run by a lying asshole of the highest order.

2020 is coming, the assholes will be swept out like yesterday's trash.
