I posted in my post #76 the following excerpted from it that Cardinal quoted:
What racism is:
--Denying participation or opportunity or recognition or any other normal human right to a person because of their race, color of skin, or ethnicity.
--Mocking, denigrating, insulting, and other harmful behavior directed at a person because of their race, color of skin, or ethnicity.
--Assuming people of a certain race, color of skin, or ethnicity are incapable or unable to aspire or achieve or accomplish what other people do because of their history and/or the fact that racists exist and therefore must have 'liberal whitey's' help and/or are entitled to special privileges or compensation or forced participation, i.e. victimizing.
--Assuming people of a certain race, color of skin, or ethnicity are required to be a spokesperson and advocate for people of that race, color of skin, or ethnicity and vote Democrat or else they are a 'discredit to their race' or whatever.
To which Cardinal responds as quoted above: "None of those are racism."
I am sorely tempted to ask Cardinal that if those statements are not describing racism, what does? But I suspect all I would get is stuff, taken out of context, that Trump has said.
But it really does leave a body shaking her head in wonderment at what the current angry, hateful, malicious, punitive TDS environment has done to people.
