How is Donald Trump tweets racism?

It's not racist.

But what needs to be understood is that the followers of the New Democratic Party have no choice but to follow orders and call it racist. If not, they will be cast out, called racists themselves, and attacked unmercifully.

That's what history tells us about how people were controlled by dark regimes in the past.

He didn't mentioned any names or color still democrats see commuinsm red and racism

WTF are you talking about, do you have any actual idea?

I agree it's not really racism, but it's something worse: He conflating policy with patriotism and showing that he doesn't do his homework. Referring to all the members of the Squad as foreigner-born, shows he doesn't really do any research before he tweets.

After due consideration I have decided that these tweets are not "racist." Why?

Ilhan Omar is not the only naturalized citizen currently seated in Congress.

That number includes nine others like Salud Carbajal from Mexico, Raja Krishnamoorthi from India, Ted Lieu from Taiwan, Debbie Mucarsel-Powell from Ecuador, and Stephanie Murphy from Vietnam.

Then there are eight who were born overseas to American parents, including Dan Crenshaw, Sean Casten, Diana DeGette, Kim Himes, Don Eacham, Mark Meadows, David Rouzer, and Susan Wild.

List of foreign-born United States politicians - Wikipedia

IMO Trump's comment could apply to any one of them. In fact, if liberally interpreted then it is possible that such comments could be applied to anyone of any "foreign" descent (including himself) other than Native tribes.

It was a silly comment, along the lines of the old Sixties jingoistic "America, love it or leave it" meme applied to anti-war activists who fled the country to avoid the draft. Also recall all those "famous people" who threatened to "flee the country" if he got elected?

So no, IMHO the comments were not "racist." They might be considered nationalistic like the one I just referred to, but hardly racist.

He doesn't even have the capacity to think for himself; instead he relies on Fox 'experts' to decide what his next rant will feature.

Well, considering that overt nationalism invariably has a racist component, I can't agree with you. "Jews will not replace us!", chanted by white supremacist racists is just one example.

You're correct here. Trump basically watches Fox News and repeats what the nightly opinion-makers say. When I first heard about it, I viewed it as a copy and paste job from Tucker Carlson.

No, "overt nationalism" does not "invariably" have "a racist component." For example a Black, Hispanic, Asian, or member of any other American "racial" group can chant "America, love it or leave it." Yet by your argument they would all be "invariably racist" to do so.

There is a difference between national identity and racism despite the fact that there have been a few nations who were so homogenous that for a time jingoism could be considered race-based (several colonial powers fit that bill). However, in the main it is more likely tribalism as opposed to racism that applies to such views.

These tweets are akin to Trump's "sh*thole countries" comments. You'll find that the people most offended by this class of comments are also less for capitalism. "Sh*tholes" like Haiti and Somalia represent more what they want the US to become. There's less selfishness in those countries. Rather than defend those sh*thole systems on their merit, they point out that different colored people live there, and that's the reason why conservatives must think Haiti is a sh*thole.

As a Trump voter, I can say with certainty that Haiti and Somalia are sh*tholes for one simple reason: they are sh*tholes.

Oh, so you let others tell you how to think. Ok. That fits.

No sir, that would be you. Hence your unqualified support for anything your idiotic 'president' tells you, however outrageous, mistaken or absurd. Do windmills cause cancer?

Really? LOL. Whatever you need to make up and believe.

Ok, so tell me what you object to in Trump, his policies or behaviour. Be honest.

I'd like to see him tweet less. On the other hand, it triggers those trained to hate him to such levels, it exposes their insanity. So it's hard to be firm with that.

BTW, what's it like to learn the government of the UK is considered so weak Iran would seize an oil tanker, and not worry about repercussions? And as far as I know, the UK is a signatory to the Iran Nuclear deal, so I guess that shows how Iran views that agreement.

You mean the agreement that was working well, according to both the IAEA and your own administration? The deal Iran was in full compliance with and which your idiot-in-chief reneged on, thus giving Iran carte blanche to increase enrichment? That was probably your biggest foreign policy blunder to date, hence the entirely avoidable tension we're seeing now in the Gulf. But apparently only America and, of course, Israel believe the opposite.
