Conservatives demonizing women?

First, it was Hillary Clinton. When Bill Clinton was president, despite the fact that it was Bill who was caught lying and cheating, it was Hillary who was hated most by conservatives.

Then it was Nancy Pelosi. Conservatives insisted that she was some kind of radical and she was the most hated Democrat.

Then came AOC and conservatives lost their minds with hate.

Now it's Ilhan Omar.

Oh, and they also hate Maxine Watters.

It seems it's easier to get conservatives to hate a woman than a man like Chuck Schumer or Bill Clinton.

Does sexism explain what appears to be a higher intensity of anger and hate when it comes to liberal women?

Bimbo eruptions.

No, SonOfDaedalus. No more than sexism can be reasoned the main factor in explaining the vitriol that liberals leveled at women who were conservative Republican politicians, such as Sarah Palin or Michele Bachman. Are women in positions of political power above criticism or attack when they say or do things that their political opposition find reprehensible? I do not think so.

Whether you are a man or woman, when you are a partisan politician who leaves the back bench and manages to achieve the spotlight, you are going to be the subject of partisan attacks in direct proportion to the amount of attention you have received and continue to receive. That is how things work no matter your sex. I would assert to claim that this is the province of only one side of the political aisle is either the product of incurious ignorance, or partisan disingenuousness.

I can't say it enough - imagine the demonizing if any one of those females had five kids with three different men and was busted ****ing a porn star the first day she met him while her husband was at home with their baby and was known to cheat on all her husbands. The slut shaming from the moral police would be epic.

AMEN SISTER!!

The fact that they are women is not the salient point. However, since the left sees all issues through the prism of race, gender and ethnicity first, it's no surprise you'd make this comment.

It's not only that they are women but they are also outspoken women of color. The 2 deadly sins in conservative land.

That's all you guys have to hang your hat on. I think if the racism and sexism angles were taken away from the left, they'd simply dry up and disappear not knowing what to do with themselves. Heck, they might have to talk about ISSUES and actually defend themselves. Horrors!!

Oh, and the Dems lose white women in every election. Not just to Trump but over and over again. Lemme guess, all racists.

If you think a congress woman (being a woman of color) actually means something, you're a racist.

If you think being a (Woman of color) brings something more to the table than any other congress woman, you're a racist.

If you think being a Woman of Color as a Congress woman has a different threshold of accountability or discourse, you're a racist.

You know what would really clear up whether or not Republican/conservative leaders are truly against the "squad" based on their sex, skin color, religion or country of birth? Debate. One on one debate. On issues.

But the "squad" won't do that, will they? They'd rather fling insults and accusations and use their SJW shields to deflect criticism of their ideology and actions.

Until they do that-- have a real, honest to goodness conversation and engage in academically-rigorous debate-- I will assume they are agitators who are void of intelligent thought and reason.

It's pretty funny how leftists delude themselves into believing fragile flowers like this one listed below are in need of their protection....

He may be POTUS but he behaves like a teenage boy. That's why he gets so much more bad press than any other Republican president. He's a disgrace.

The fact that you're not appalled by his nativist rabble-rousing says a lot about you. This is not a liberal vs conservative thing. Mitt Romney described Trump perfectly--a con man. He gets 27/7 bad coverage because he behaves like a clown. The entire world sees this except his cult members in America.

To call him a teenager is giving him more credit than he deserves. Toddler is more like it.
