Be specific in tangible terms. What's in that for my family and I? It doesn't take 20 million more ignorant, impoverished young Latino men in the USA to be able to find a decent Tex-Mex restaurant. I have seen NOTHING otherwise from south of our border I've seen that our country needs or benefits from. What is it?

That is why I voted yes, I want the USA to remain a majority white. If not, then I want worldwide diversity - not the Democratic Party's hatred of worldwide diversity on behalf of poor, ignorant undocumented and very possibly criminals fleeing law enforcement of their own countries young Latino men by the millions and millions and millions more.

This post of yours is probably one of the better ones I have read of yours, given that you show some of your reasons why you would prefer to stay white and I have to admit that some of those reasons make sense. Yes, diversity does open the door to additional biases, bigotry and problems. Yes opening the door to lesser income people from poor Latin, Black populated, and low educated nations does have a general negative effect on all of us here. Yes, by allowing people that come from nations where hate and corruption is found does open the door for more of that to be seen here.

In voicing those opinions of yours in this way, you have gained some respect from me. You say what you believe and that takes courage.

Nonetheless, there are a few things that throw your scenario of keeping America White from being viable. First of all, it isn't going to happen. Some things in life cannot be stopped and this is one of them. We are one planet and not just one nation and with the population growth that is occurring in the world, ultimately there will not be countries, it will be one planet. History has shown that culture-wise (what you are talking about) there will be up periods and down periods and evidently this is a down period. By the same token, those down periods ultimately get replaced with huge positive growth if intelligently handled. The country that finds a ways to incorporate the unstoppable path toward complete ethnicity of its population will by nature become stronger as other countries will be slow to follow. This means that if we can work this out, the negatives seen at the beginning will become strong positives in the long run. It will make our country great again in the future as the strength of merging all ethnicities will make us wiser, stronger as a group, and able to beat those that aren't, though pains will be suffered at the beginning. Ethnicity is what made us great before and that will not change.

The country that remains ethnically one color, one culture, one race, will be weak ats its own biases will work against them in trade, in growth, and in the desire of the people to be better.

Life by nature is tough and painful but it is the ones that work through it that will come out better in the end. The ones that shut if off and refuse to be a part of the inevitable will end up being old and less than they were before.

I understand fully what you are thinking and feeling but like my father always said "If you can't solve problems in a positive way, all you are is a failure".

This comment enables making a good point, as my comment also lent itself too, because that earlier wave of immigrants was also 'white' but ethnically different and also vilified and feared by those already established here.

The problem, IMO, is fear of those that are different (natural in Homo sapiens). The fear closes the mind to the "positive" differences and focuses on the negative. The fear is of being inadequate and losing jobs and the best 'mates' and identity. Fear is at the base of all intolerance I think...and it surfaces in a myriad of ways. It is fear that enables ignorance.

Actually in some ways yes. What happens when everyone thinks alike? There is no growth as they never change. The outlook is the same and there are no new ideas as the world progresses.

It's like Trump wanting only "yes" men around him. He is not conscious of all the different paths to solving a problem, only the ones he alone can think about. It makes him less, not more.

'After each wave of immigration there were long periods of little or no immigration

Their children passed through deeply patriotic schools where they were
