This is just a cheap political trick. Trump doesn't want to discuss policy. Instead he wants to claim that those who disagree with his policies hate America. He wants you to believe that Omar hates America because she's Muslim. He wants you to believe that Democrats hate America because she's a Democrat. It's a tactic that works best on dumb people. Is it working on you?

At this point, this is what the GOP is, who they are, what they believe. In 2020 people will have to make a choice between what amounts to white nationalism or something else, because the GOP is EMBRACING this bigotry/racism "foolishness" with bear hugs.

Do you really think his base will quietly go away if he's beaten at the polls next year? I don't. I think he'll still be all over social media and the news every day, whipping his base into a frenzy at the "rigged" system and how he was robbed of a second term by some liberal conspiracy. I expect violence and have plans to spend a couple of weeks some place nice and quiet and remote, whether he loses or not. And he could actually win.

Your claims of white nationalism is a joke. Have some real policy issues to discuss instead of benign claims of racism because someone loves their country and the tradition and heritage associated with its foundation.
It amazes me how something like "nationalism" can be a bad thing. The belief that your country comes first and you have great pride in your country. Those who don't like America should certainly be looking for a place they would be happy.

Well said, it is that simple. Those who defend it and him are of the exact same mindset, true colors are coming to light since this character took office, this is one of the things that Americans can legitimately be ashamed of and angry about.

The Republican Party of today is NOT the party I joined in 1980 when we had a candidate running who spoke of making America a great nation, and who inspired me to be a better person and look kindly on those who were less fortunate, and who made me proud to live in the greatest country in the world. In 39 years we went from that to a man who is the complete opposite of everything Reagan stood for and expected of Americans.

If Trump is the face of the new Republican Party, I want no part of it.

Maybe. I add, however, that there is a LOT of ignorance and intolerance going around. Believing the economic insanity of the "Green New Deal" is frighteningly ignorant, and telling blacks and Muslims and gays that they must speak as one voice is mighty damned intolerant too.
