We gave the last president close to a billion dollars and 8 years to fix those rusting bridges. Surely that must be completed by now.

AFAIK we are not going into Mexico and stealing kiddos from mommy's arms, so that must not be the problem. Maybe it's the 100,000 or so violating our borders each month. Any news on the Democrat's plan to fix that?

He's taken credit for all those things that's true. The facts are he's added $2 trillion to the deficit with his tax cut/giveaway for the rich, had to engage in a $2 billion socialist giveaway to farmers to make up for his idiotic tariffs, has set the stage for another financial collapse for rolling back financial regulations, has poisoned our waterways by allowing coal companies to dump their sewage into our lakes and rivers, and although the agreement made by Obama and our allies was working, he unilaterally rescind the agreement, emboldening Iran to resume their march towards being a nuclear power. He's an absolute idiot as our those who don't realize he's an insane idiot.

The alt-right's hatred of democrats is so intense, the 30-percent of the country that they are don't even realize what evil they're advocating.

The infrastructure bill of 2019 that was approved by Congress and Trump was for 2 Trillion dollars over 10 years. One Billion dollars over 8 years was nothing in comparison. But only two weeks later after Congress and Trump agreed to this infrastructure bill, Trump changed his mind and demanded to Democrats to pass the United States-Mexico-Canada trade pact before working on an infrastructure bill. The infrastructure bill died right there a clear sign that crumbling roads and bridges are unlikely to get significant federal funding for repairs this year.

I believe, sir, that I mentioned the last president, the trillion dollars and 8 years.

If that trillion had been put to it's intended use. If the past president had been able to find the shovels. We would now have less need for an additional two trillion to fix the infrastructure that is now in worse condition.

Does the U.S. Dept of Transportation, or the U.S. National Highway Service give you a list or an accounting of the dams, bridges and roads that have been either repaired or constructed in the 8 years of President Obama's administration?

My “side” is America.

Factually, Trump, himself, is mostly responsible for the recent race to the bottom regrading respectful disagreement. Those who oppose Trump and everything he stands for are simply fighting fire with fire. Neither group is right, but until Trump and his supporters stop their bad behavior, or Trump is booted out of office, there is no reason to think others will stop.
