Resolving, fixing or averting some crisis must not be done such that it ends up getting signed into law, with grand public ceremony, by the evil Trump - thus allowing the evil Trump to take credit for having those important and good things happen on his watch. Keep in mind that the present political penalty for participation (or lack thereof) in a 'do nothing' congress is getting re-elected at a rate of over 90%.

Doesn't matter who the Dem nominee is, Trump will hammer them over this.

Though I do have to say that Warren knows the deal and is trying to save herself. I expect the others...when someone gets around to asking them...will follow her lead.

Kind of like when the same Democrats in the House put forward a resolution condemning Omar for her racist antisemitism implying supporters of Israel in Congress hold allegiance to a foreign country. And has been accused of employing anti-Semitic tropes since taking office over her criticism of Israel and the role of the Jewish state’s backers in Washington.

Accusing Jews of having allegiance to a foreign government has long been a vile anti-Semitic slur that has been used to harass, marginalize, and persecute the Jewish people for centuries.

Then the same fab 4 accused Pelosi of being a racist because how dare she correct the 4 women of color? I guess you didn't hear the people cheering on Trump when he was addressing reporters about telling these same 4 to go back to where they came from if they hate America.

You scream racism as you conveniently overlook how racist the 4 are. Now he has the same Democrats who were calling out these 4 for their behavior, now defending them and putting them in the lime light pushing the toilet water lies, socialism, green new deals, ditching ICE, and the same 4 who refused to sign the 4.6 billion dollar bill to help the Illegal Aliens get food and services.

Sir, I dont think you understand how this works. He has already been castigated so badly, it literally does not matter what he says, at the end of the day the press cried wolf so much that everyone is ignoring them.

The GOP was melting down over the censure and doing everything they could to stop it because they understand it will have an effect.

Trump's comments were racist - everyone heard it. Hiding behind the old "but, but, the media!" won't spin his comments away.

Here's the problem just because YOU and the media say his tweet is racist, does not mean, A the man is racist and B. it does not mean others will find his tweet racist. You seem to think the racist card is this magical "you win card". News flash it has been over used and its effectiveness is suspect at best. C. a lot of immigrants, you know the real kind who came through the front door and jumped through the hoops and got their citizenship, amazingly a lot of them agree with Trump's sentiment in his tweet. Hmm I wonder why that is?

We don't have to. The tweets are loud and clear with racist tropes and you know it. Those tweets are going to be used in campaign ads all across the country, and people are not going to be talking about AOC, they're going to be talking about the obvious racist statements made by the president.

Why dont we wait for the real poll, the election and we will know one way or another whether people think the Donald is racist and whether the real immigrants are on your side. Much easier and far more clear dont you think? I am a patient guy. I can wait.

Independents are increasingly growing weary of his nine year old antics, both on social media and on television.
He has successfully chewed up every moral and political value conservatives ever embraced, and posted a long string of fake manufactured reality TV scripts that look like a crisis only to turn out to be a photo op so that he can assume the APPEARANCE of having fixed it.

To a growing number of independents Trump is beginning to look like an arsonist posing as a decorated firefighter.

Not really. Pelosi has spent months and was pretty successful to push those 3 woman to the background as they have caused here massive headaches and have bad polling
numbers attached to them. They are not liked and they are not popular.

She was being successful in getting them into the background and drowned out by other things.
now they are back in the forefront.
