Joe Biden: I’ll challenge Trump to do push-ups onstage if he makes fun of my age or mental state - The Washington Post

Joe Biden has said he would challenge Trump to push-ups if he poked at Biden’s age or mental ability.

I’ve changed my mind I am pulling for Joe to win the Democratic nomination. The antics and gaffes generated in a Biden verse Trump election would reflect the overall stupidity infecting America. After a long string of presidents on the poor side of the spectrum the country needs a comedic break. Biden had threatened to take Trump out to the woodshed last election, I think the two men may square off and slap fight each other.
 
This is another example of why Biden would be bad choice. Democrats need a candidate that is focused on promoting their vision of America instead of playing games with Trump.
 
Joe missed his time in 2016. It was really only evident after Hillary became the nominee and was too late by then. I don’t know what his strategy was in waiting so long after others had declared. He wasn’t ready for the type of attack Kamala Harris brought in the debate and he again wasn’t ready for Mika’s question. He doesn’t demonstrate the needed qualities to be POTUS. If I was a betting man, I would wager significantly that Joe won’t be the Democratic nominee.

Joe and John McCain missed their shots, imo. JSM’s year was 2000, imo.
 
I'm fine with this technique, Biden is calling trumps bluff. Biden is I far better shape both mentally and physically, and most likely financially...

Who beats him though? I just don't see the path for one of the others to take him down.

Clinton underperformed in important states in 2016. I don't think there are any Democrats that could perform worse than Clinton and I doubt Trump performs a lot better than he did before. I think that Bernie or Warren could beat Trump in those important states that Democrats lost, but I don't feel really good about anybody.

I, for one, want to see Trump do push-ups. If he can lift all that blubber, I'll be quite impressed.

I was wondering which dems could take down Biden. I don't see any who can. It still looks like it will be trump v Biden to me.

I'd say just the opposite.
The Democrat vision of America is repulsive to normal Americans.

In 2016 Marco Rubio and Trump had a fight over the size of their hands.

Since the FCC wouldn't allow it we can't have the two men compare penis sizes on tv then we should have a push up contest.

Usually Trump would respond to this challenge but this time he probably knows he can't do five pushups.

My bet is tRump couldn’t get off the floor, by himself once he was down, much less do A push up.
 
Looking forward to the NBC debate held on the American Ninja Warrior set. After each question the candidate will have 90seconds to complete the obstacle.
 
Biden would probably not be the best choice of candidate for the DNC. We'll see what happens though. It's hard to see if someone else can come through, but Biden I think is Trump's best chance at re-election.
