The chart that shows asylum requests is on page 7. There were 83k requests in 2015, 115k in 2016 and 140k in 2017. The best information I can find for 2018 shows 73k through September.

Thank you for that. I can't see it not sure why... but my flight is finally about to leave.
Will try to look at it at some point.
We may not agree politically but thanks for a civil debate.
And I'll just say this as a last note because I plan to sleep on this flight. There is no excuse for anyone to be in detention for longer than 30 days I know the power of the federal government and they can activate resources when needed. Those resources have not been activated to the border because this situation looks better as a visual.
