The First Rule of Racism...

It's TOTALLY hyperbole. Saying "concentration camp" doesn't invoke Nazi death camps is nothing more than a farcical attempt to rewrite history.

Concentration camps are not exclusive to Nazi Germany. The Chinese have the Uighur population in concentration camps. The US detained Japanese citizens in concentration camps in WWII. This is not hyperbole. It's a painful truth.

I'd suggest that the idea of behavior being an inherent attribute of a given race is the epitome of racism.

It is inherent to a specific social and cultural status.

Look up the meanings of inbred and inherent, since you evidently aren’t familiar with the difference.

That's easy: "You're right, that was way out of line".

But I know that's utterly beyond you.

Do you want me to lie?

No. I won't.

Individuals who came here illegally and are requesting asylum are being kept in detention centers until their claims are processed. They are not previously free citizens being rounded up merely because of their ethnicity. They are not being kept confined for an undetermined amount of time. The detainees came here KNOWING that they risked detention and many actually sought out CBP so that they could begin the asylum process. The idea that one would choose to compare the cases of border crossers being detained to Jews in Nazi camps, Japanese in FDR's camps or Uighurs in Chinese camps is insane. The ONLY comparison is the detention. The purpose of the detention, the length of detention and the treatment of the detainees is COMPLETELY different.

Most white Americans have inbred racist tendencies they acknowledge and resist, acknowledge and don’t resist or don’t acknowledge and don’t resist. I’m in the first category. You?

I don't believe racism is inbred...maybe inherent or sociological.
But I do love when white people argue about what can and can't be racist, especially when they tell people what should and shouldn't bother them.
It's hilarious to watch.

How can you come here illegally and search for CPB agents to turn yourself over to in order to claim asylum?
Pick one either it's illegal border crossing or asylum seekers it can't be both.
Of course as of Tuesday asylum seeking in the US is illegal unless your are Mexican or Canadian.

I hate to break it to you, but there are concentration camps along the border. No, they're not Nazi death camps. A concentration camp is a holding center for all persons of a particular ethnic group. That is exactly what these camps are. This is not hyperbole.

When did being an Illegal Alien become an ethnic group? If thats the new norm then prisons are concentration camps as well because criminals are now an ethnic group.

Nice try but, no.

Inbred racist tendencies? Racism is now in your DNA? I have news for ya. If you're acknowledging you're a racist, it isn't in your DNA, you're just a racist.

Border Patrol: Group Of 1,036 Migrants Is Largest Ever Found | KPBS
A Border Patrol surveillance video that President Donald Trump shared on Twitter shows people filing under a chain-link fence to a spot on the U.S. side, where they waited for agents to pick them up. Authorities said it took about five minutes for all to cross around 4 a.m. on Wednesday near downtown El Paso.

By going to a remote crossing when it is closed, however, there is no Customs and Border Protection staff to screen them, so they gain access to the country, and enter the system to be considered for asylum. Most will remain in the country while their asylum cases are considered.

“The smuggler operations have figured out there are loopholes in how the system works,” Romero said.
AP Explains: What happens when migrants arrive at US border
As a result of President Donald Trump’s new policy, over 14,000 asylum applicants are waiting in Mexico while their cases are decided.

But many people get frustrated by the long wait or don’t even bother with getting in line. So they take a different approach: They cross the border — secretly or openly — outside of the official crossings and turn themselves in to Border Patrol agents, who then take them into custody on the U.S. side.

Are you seriously going to tell me you had no idea that most of these "victims of the US concentration camps" had no idea what they were doing?

Calling detention camps concentration camps, an obvious Nazi reference, is Holocaust denial.

The Holocaust victims wish they would have had it that good. The Holocaust wouldn't even be a thing, if they had.

Do you want me to lie?

No. I won't.

lol...yeah, I can't even touch that one without risking demerit points. Don't worry...you've made your position abundantly clear, with your refusal to acknowledge the obvious.

How is what they are doing any different than the wet feet/dry feet policy in the 90's?
Again people trying to step foot on US soil so they can make a legal claim....how is that illegal?
Boy have we changed as a nation I remember when there was a national outcry about Elian Gonzalez now we see a child and father dead in the water and.....nothing.

Notice how he singled out "white Americans"? :lamo

The Cubans were fleeing actual persecution. The illegals crossing the southern border are looking for better government giveaways.

No, that's not it... you were just better then.

shrug...

What I said would be obvious if people weren't hung up on their bias.

What do you mean "how is it illegal"? If you don't present yourself at a port of entry, identify yourself and state the purpose of your entry then you have entered illegally. As you may or may not be aware, the US has had immigration and naturalization laws on the books since right around 1790. The primary immigration law today is the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. That act has been updated and amended since it was originally enacted but it sets standards for entry, immigration quotas, etc. It is a law, not a suggestion or a regulation. People who violate this law are, by definition, acting illegally.

The first rule of racism is to find something racist in every thing and every person you disagree with. Bear in mind that the only logical reason for anyone to see the world differently than you do is because they are racist.

WRONG.

The "FIRST RULE OF RACISM" is......Racists don't understand what Racism is, nor what it looks like. Thus, the non-stop streaming of excuses, rationalizations and blame-shifting that is (quite literally) an identifying marker for all white nationalist/supremacist/neo-nazi types.

The first rule of identity politics...

...is to play this card.

View attachment 67259977

WRONG.

The "SECOND RULE OF RACISM" is......ONLY bigots and other white nationalist/supremacist types say things like "Race Card" and "Identity Politics".

To people like you, ANY mention of racism against a racial minority...or race as a topic, in general... prompts knew-jerk bigots to say "Race Card". They (you) do this because you and your ilk are eaten up with "white grievance" and NEED to validate (by any means) your feelings of victimhood. Most alt-righties honestly believe that whites, not minorities, are the primary victims of racism and bigotry in our society. That's how delusional the whole "white grievance" mentality is.

As for the "Identity Politics" meme....it's as fake and contrives as the whole "race card" meme. The entire Trump agenda (indeed, the entire GOP agenda for the last 40 years) has been predicated on "IDENTITY POLITICS", with the "identity" being that of angry, rural/suburban white men (and about half of their wives) who hold high levels of racial and religious resentment toward people who do not share their White, Christian identity.

shrug...

What I said would be obvious if people weren't hung up on their bias.

Yes...it's everyone else in the room that's crazy / wrong / biased.

Sorry...talk like a racist, get called a racist. Defend a racist, get called a defender of racism. Show me the hole in my logic.

Okay but asylum law says you can apply for asylum when you are in the country.
Again how is what these people are doing different than the wet feet/feet policy?
Isn't that also law?

By the way there are people lined up at the ports of entry awaiting there chance to claim asylum....just as Trump has said they should do.
As of today the Trump administration has said they can no longer claim asylum here. The Trump administration has pulled the rug out from people that are following the laws. How can you expect people to be honest brokers when the people making the rules are not.

My error. I meant bred from the earliest age by the surrounding social environment. So yes, sociological.
