GOPer's, can you defend Trump without defending his racism?

I was wrong.

This "boring ass thread" on racism has actually turned out very interesting. lol

Was getting a little stale around here.

I've spit on my keyboard at least 3 times in this thread. Very entertaining on many different levels.

There is no question that Trump's statements have been racist, NONE. So I have a question for GOPers out there, can you still defend Trump without also defending his obvious racism. Most of us knew he was a racist from his not allowing blacks to rent apartments in his buildings to his there are good people on both sides statement. These latest statements have made his racism clear, but I know many of you will still believe. So I once again ask the question, can you still defend Trump without defending his racism?

His statements appeared racist due to the way the liberal media twisted his words.

He's coming very close to saying "you know what, if they don't want to be here, they shouldn't be here and maybe we should get rid of them, I'm going to take a look at that". This is where he's headed.

Fascinating look into the mind of a liberal.

Let me get the record straight.

I didn't like Trump's tweets. Not at all....

I LOVED THEM!

When you hav 4 fouled mouthed nasty/hateful bitches like that... you need to put them in their place.

Trump isn't capable of putting anyone in 'their place'. He's too busy whining about those nasty people saying bad things about him.

You don't have enough to bitch about in your own country you have to come here and annoy us bitching about ours?

Tell you what mate, when your country quits dragging us into stupid wars you can't win, and when your banks quit creating global recessions which are still affecting me, and when that ****ing moron you call a 'president' quits criticising my country and our politicians, I'll be happy to quit myself. Until that happens I'm afraid you'll just have to ignore my comments if you don't like hearing the truth.

But that's not the truth. Its moronic liberal propaganda. And no, I don't expect you to ever see the truth. But go ahead and spell out this supposed 'racist agenda' that I support.

Of course you're too young to remember this, but I'm not. His racism and prejudice has been documented way back to the 1970's. Trump campaigned to have the 'Central Park Five' put to death despite the fact that these five teenage black boys were found innocent of a crime. Trump is the guy who phoned into a daily talk radio show to complain that his beloved neighborhood in Queens was being integrated. Trump is the guy that said he'd never allow a black man to count his money and he'd only trust one wearing a 'yarmaka'.

From Trump right down to the most powerful cabinets picks he's made include Jefferson Beauregard Sessions who claimed that the only reason he didn't join the Ku Klux Klan was because "some of them smoked marijuana". Michael Flynn who continually drew a comparison of Muslims to terrorists. Installing Steve Bannon in the White House as an advisor, a known white supremacist. Then there Stephen Miller who is his eternal white supremacist ghost whisperer right there in the White House. Sebastian Gorka, a man who was awarded a medal, which he proudly wears every day, from a white neo-Nazi Hungarian group.

There is absolutely no denying that Trump is both racist and a white nationalist.

Tell that to your 'president' who constantly bitches about Britain and pretty much everywhere-except Russia and North Korea; he just loves them.

Fix your own ****hole country.

oh no, not that!!!!

get out the pitchforks! We have someone who may or may not have said something that could be perceived as possibly having racial undertones by the perpetually offended crowd.

yes that!!

Yeah, yeah, yea,...you're life sucks and it's all because of mean 'ol America.

No wonder you're such a fan of the skank gang.

No, Im denying it. Your post is crap and so are your phony accusations. Trump is not a racist. Was he back in the day when he was a liberal New York democrat? Could be. The real racists have always been on the left. He isn't today, nor is anyone in his cabinet, nor is his agenda. What is true is that race obsessed leftists like yourself are incapable of any sort of rational argument so you default to the only thing you can do--and that's make false accusations of racism and Nazism and any other mindless ism you can concoct.

I just laid out clear and undeniable proof of racism. You refuse to accept it because you are a racist every bit as much as Trump is. Those were not 'accusations', I gave you FACTS. Everything I said was completely rational. What is NOT rational is your reaction. All you can do is deflect and deny.

It's inside the mind of a racist who has the power to do exactly that.

How do you know whats inside the mind of a racist? Personal experience?

You just equated liberal and racist. Is that what you meant?

No you didn't. You laid out typical mindless smears of Sessions Bannon, Flynn and Miller. You guys have but one card in your deck and that's the race card. You play it so often it has no meaning. The administration is not racist, neither are its supporters on the right. What is true is that liberals have nothing better to do than lie about it.

She lived in the sixties. Lol!

I lived in the 60's too. Lots has changed in 50 years. The left acts like this is 1969. Its 2019. The racism of the 60's and 70's is dead and buried. They just keep digging up the corpse because they have nothing else to run on and no other way to keep minorities in their tent.

Methinks the left doth protest too much. They never learn from past mistakes.
They are so desperate to turn us all into a basket of irredeemable deplorables, forgetting all the anti-American extremism coming from the squad. These four hate this country! These far leftists will not help the Democrats win the election in 2020. I hope they keep babbling...

I agree with that completely. Which is why I think it was a mistake for Trump to weigh in here. When one side is self destructing, its best for the other side to step back and let it happen. While Trumps tweet wasn't racist, it allowed the left to unite against him when prior to his tweet they were battling one another. Call it what you like: an unforced error or a self inflicted wound, Trump needs to stop doing it. Unlikely he will though

You provide very thin gruel.

Trump's big mouth always gets him in trouble. The man does not care about optics. He should have left well enough alone, (let Pelosi duke it out with them) but now he once again is the big white villain, and they are the left's little brown victims. Who knows though? He does seem to be aptly pointing out the NEW face of the Democrat Party; anti-American extremism. Maybe there is a method to his madness... these four women are not going to be silenced. Is he goading them? Maybe that's his plan.

Its hard to ignore the fact that his supporters are forever having to qualify his statements. Trump, as usual, has been directly quoted, and his supporters are, as usual, having to say "yeah, but...." Unable to see through his BS, one would think they would at least tire of making excuses for him.
