There is no question that Trump's statements have been racist, NONE. So I have a question for GOPers out there, can you still defend Trump without also defending his obvious racism. Most of us knew he was a racist from his not allowing blacks to rent apartments in his buildings to his there are good people on both sides statement. These latest statements have made his racism clear, but I know many of you will still believe. So I once again ask the question, can you still defend Trump without defending his racism?

How many threads do we need on this subject? Plus, outside of the empty minds of the left that label everything racist, this has not been proven to be a racist comment.

Another boring ass thread on racism.

They can defend it, and they are defending it. Trump is pandering to the racist element of his base. Masterfully, i might add.

There are plenty of posts from Trump fans on this board alone to confirm it.

The thread assumes Trump is racist, which he is not. That is the false assumption in this thread.

Bringing up stuff from over 20-30 years ago. Rehashed attacks that were already debunked in 2016.

If the liberal twinkies want to pretend Trump's statement was racist, so be it. The rest of us just shrug and roll our eyes over the feigned outrage by the Left.

Now, you sound just like the racists I knew from the south in the 60's. Exactly, just as Trump's statements are straight out of the racist's handbooks from the 60's. I thought this country would never go back there, but apparently we have. And your answers that those who call out racists are the real racists is also from the same playbook from the 60's. It never changes does it.

I know. Everything is racist to you guys.

They can't, they gaslight, deflect and play "what about?" all the time.

Such dishonest posters here, they have to be called out every time they pull this garbage.

We are we still talking about this??? Is there nothing else to talk about?

What, you think he changed from being a racist to a morally upright and inclusive, decent man since then?

If I understand correctly, I'm suppose to be pulling my hair out and crying uncontrollably over some perceived racist undertones in Trump telling some American hating liberals to go back to where they came from and clean up the mess but I'm suppose to ignore the 2020 leading Dem presidential candidate calling Obama a 'clean' black man or their last Dem presidential candidate calling blacks 'super predators'?

I'm not sure what exactly is the best response to this but the term 'blow me' comes to mind.

Link to your racist handbook please?

I think the OP is hoping against hope that you people on the right will one day see the truth. He's a racist and you are if you are supporting his racist agenda.

These statements of Trump's are neither 'perceived' as racist, nor are they mere 'undertones'. It is blatant, overt racism. He has a record of racism, and so did his father. I guess it's genetic.

These younger blind Trump followers have no clue at all what the 50's and 60's were like. We lived them. We experienced them in real time. We understand how horrible, divisive and damaging it is for a country that calls itself 'United' will be once again unless we call out Trump's blatant racist and how he's going to use it as a basis for his re-election campaign.

Let me get the record straight.

I didn't like Trump's tweets. Not at all....

I LOVED THEM!

When you hav 4 fouled mouthed nasty/hateful bitches like that... you need to put them in their place.

This thread is doubly stupid because the person he was tweeting about REALLY IS a racist. Who's deflecting here, gentlemen?

"The incident that happened with, I don't think our colleague is anti-Semitic, I think she has a different experience in the use of words, doesn't understand that some of them are fraught with meaning, that she, what, didn't realize." - @speakerpelosi on @ilhan

Ya, right, Nancy.

Oh look standard right wing trolling response ( I could have copied each and every one of them), nothing but deflections, no argument, no intelligence. Not surprised, when you don't have any actual facts to argue, you don't have any actual argument, trollish games is all you have

Some members of his own party have chimed in, making the charge of racism bi-partisan. But most GOP leaders are too frightened of him to make the claim.

Just because some militant liberal lesbian on MSNBC said you're suppose to think that doesn't make it true.

Many of us took Trump's tweet as flipping off the spoiled cottage cheese squad over their anti American rhetoric.

Of course, we're a free country. Feel free to spend your energy staying outraged over something liberals made up in those teenie, tiny nickel heads.
