Accusations of Racism Based on Fake News

After Democrat lawmakers and commentators spent months hammering the Trump administration for supposedly delaying the release of a $20 bill featuring abolitionist Harriet Tubman, several officials appointed by President Barack Obama have reportedly admitted that Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin has followed the Obama timeline for producing the new currency.
Security features needed for the new bill are still in development and will take years to be ready, a time line developed under Obama.

The idea that Trump was delaying the Tubman twenty was false. And then there followed tons of commentary and accusations of racism based on that fake news. It's the standard operating procedure of the news media these days. The Democrats' view of Trump is based on these sorts of lies.

Based on everything Trump has said, he likely sees Tubman as someone who hated America because she tried to change it and should go back to Africa, despite having been born in the US.

This may or may not have been for racist reasons, but when he so openly embraces racist rhetoric it's hard for us to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Everything in the world? Where did you get that whacky idea from? It does however seem like many of his words and actions are firmly based around racism, so why should we give him the benefit of the doubt in things like this? When you destroy your credibility day in and day out, don't expect for people to give you the benefit of the doubt on your intentions.

I think likely sees Harriet Tubman as a Republican ... because she was.

The problem has been compounded by the MSM simply not caring if they get it wrong. They have zero journalistic standards and it used to be people got fired for running with fake stories. There used to be a duty of care tot he readers and consumers of news. That duty of care included not intentionally lying to or misleading them with sloppy standards and partisan hackery.
That standard doesn't exist any longer.

Making things up on message board because someone criticizes Donald Trump and it makes you cry. What a sad existence.
It's disgraceful. I'm going to maybe and I'm looking at it very seriously. We're doing some other things that you probably noticed like some of the very important things that we're doing now. But we're looking at it very seriously because you can't do that. - President Donald J. Trump

Don't you mean 'covfefe'? Trump is an ignorant racist. He has a documented history of racism, just like his father before him. He learned well.

I don't think the Tubman thing had anything to do with her race. I personally have no interest in seeing the faces on our currency change either.

But the fact is that Trump invites that speculation with his own words. Obama also had to own his words. I was one of many, like you, who criticized him for his comments about the Cambridge police acting stupidly, which automatically made me assume he was anti-police. It's time for Trump to own his words.

Fox News gives the President cover. CNN and MSNBC criticize the President. For some reason you and Fox News seem to think this is a new phenomena. I remember Fox News criticizing Obama every time he did anything at all. Time for you all to get over CNN and MSNBC. You have Fox to give you comfort.

According to three unnamed sources. All the bitching that the right does about unnamed sources and this is the best you can come up with? I could understand if someone within the Trump administration was saying something bad about Trump and was afraid to lose their job for speaking up. That makes sense, but what exactly is keeping them from revealing their names in this situation?

Either way, even if you believe that in this ONE instance there are legitimate reasons for delaying the $20 other than Racism it changes nothing about the 50 billion or so other things that this administration has said and done which are very very clearly overtly racist.

This wreaks of you trying to distract everyone from the racist garbage Trump said this week which nobody in the Republican party wants to talk about. Trump walks like a racist and talks like a racist. He is a racist. Whether he has a decent excuse for making racists happy in this one particular instance is irrelevant. The preponderance of evidence says the same thing. He's a racist piece of ****.
Obstruction of Justice also applies to overt coercion of court or government officials via the means of threats or actual physical harm and also applying to deliberate sedition against a court official to undermine the appearance of legitimate authority.
