Mark Epstein is the younger brother of the child sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. Some of his properties have been implicated in court documents as Ossa Properties were Jeffrey has frequently occupied for unspecific reasons.
I think Mark is they key here in his brothers case as well as how far reaching into the politicians this may go.

Or, like the Dursts, they not only wanted nothing to do with their infamous sibling, and feared his threats to their existence and that of their respective families.

Or, their relationship could have been some mixture that still doesn't implicate both in the same drives and crimes.

We do not choose our siblings.
