Republicans Should Be Ashamed Over Silence of Trump Tweets

Raise your hand if you remember "America--love it or leave it."

Anybody?

I remember when "my country right or wrong" was truncated.
That was it, people would just say "My country right or wrong!" as if that ended all discussion.

The full saying was originally:

My country, right or wrong.
When right, to be kept right.
When wrong, to be made right.

When that was pushed in front of these nationalist fops, they responded with "America - - Love it or leave it", as if to imply that criticism of one's country was only to be interpreted as hatred, and no further discussion was to be allowed. "
Again, an authoritarian tool to block debate, a fundamentalist nationalist turdblossom of orgasmic dogma.

I agree with Rep. Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) completely, not only about how republicans who continue to remain silent after Trump's continuing racist tweets are cowards and not representing what the core of the republican party used to stand for, but also about Trump's lack of understanding about the immigration process. He sees it and says it very clearly.

Hilarious if you ask me. OOOOOOh those poor little women of color.

They called Pelosi of being racist
meh
They make anti Semitic claims against Jews
yawn
They make supporting comments about Al-Qaeda
oh well
They falsify information about drinking out of toilets
No problem
They think 911 was some people did something
No biggy
They push socialist agendas and green new deals
Oh well

Trump told them to leave if they don't like it here

OH MY GOD THE SKY IS FALLING AGAIN CUZ TRUMP MADE A RACIST COMMENT

Now Trump has Pelosi and the Democratic party coming to the rescue of the 4 little communist that have about 8% support showing every voter just how far left they have all become.
PRICELESS

I'm sixty, I recall hearing that in grade school-and it came from both Johnson fans and Nixon supporters depending on the year. and plenty of Democrats threw that at the "hippies" and anti war protestors.

But the Nixon fans were especially fond of:

"Footprint of the [Great] American Chicken"

Who made supportive comments about Al Qaeda?

yep, and neither party had a monopoly on that because both parties were pushing the war.

The TDS amen corner screams racism so often

Yep, and it will continue as long as the Trump Devotion Syndrome crowd keeps support racism.

, it no longer means anything to those who are objective and not worried about the feelings of PC protocol droids.

Oh no, taking a stand against racism still means a lot to most people who don't support racists and racism.

You think everyone's a sucker for an old Alinsky parlor trick.

Meanwhile, out of the other side of your face:

I really don't know how we fix it and I am just as guilty at getting pissed and making snarky rude comments. But I will tell you how we got here.

Used to be to give your opinion on something you did it face to face. People tend to be a bit more realistic when they have to back up what they say or have a real conversation. Now you are on a diluted website and can just cast your aspersions freely with absolutely no responsibility or fear what-so-ever.

If real men had a problem with each other they took it out back. When it was over they shook hands and moved on and usually were friends for life. Now its keyboard warriors in the basement and who can be the best quipster. Sad though. I haven't had a good ass whoopin in a long time. Maybe I'm due. Maybe we all are?

But the part that makes me question your thought processes the most is when you contradict yourself in the same sentence:

...that have about 8% support showing every voter just how far left they have all become.

If these persons only have about 8 percent support then that would prove that we haven't become very far left.
Are you sure you're thinking things through before sitting down in your keyboard commando chair?

Oh no, it still means a lot to those who don't support racists and racism. Try and find some people like that and ask them. You'll find out I'm correct.

you seem to labor under the delusion that I and others care about your claims of what is racist. we don't. We are happy that Trump causes you so much butt hurt. We laugh when you claim we worship Trump, when in reality, we merely see him as the better of two lame choices. However, most of us are glad he is president, rather than the alternative and we are laughing at the current stable of star wars bar characters who are running for the Democrat party nomination.

Apparently, if you don't condemn them to some right wing bloggers satisfaction it means you support them.

Apparently if you don't have a bout of hysterical shrieking or projectile vomiting over every silly comment Trump makes, it means you worship Trump and are a racist.

LOL, you're in full projection mode, eh?

I'm Canadian, I'm just enjoying the clown show..

America the laughingstock
Trump Has Made America Into A Laughingstock
The year the world laughed at U.S.
European diplomats: Trump is a 'laughing stock'
'People here think Trump is a laughingstock'
Trump is making America the laughingstock of the world
Australia's Prime Minister Mocked President Trump
World leaders mock Trump during UN speech

Anybody?

:2wave: Me too. I was 14.5 yoa when the Chicago Convention raged. Roads in the suburbs were closed as a precaution. Imagine if Cable News and the internet had been around in the 60’s.

We really haven’t recovered from Vietnam, and then Watergate. We never will, until we’re all gone from that time. Unfortunately, we’ve stained the younger generations, who’ve known nothing but hyper partisanship.

It’s like we have to go through this every half century or so since 1789, like an active volcano 🌋 .

yep, and neither party had a monopoly on that because both parties were pushing the war.

At the same time? I grew up in that era and I don't recall liberals supporting the war in Vietnam.
In the very early days when we were still calling it "Indochina" people on both sides believed we were stopping the spread of communism, via the Domino Theory. By the second year of Johnson's tenure I don't remember seeing or hearing about any Democratic support for the Vietnam War except in the form of a few Conserv-A-Dem lawmakers giving perfunctory lip service to it.

But I don't remember the people echoing that at all, because I remember popular support on the Democratic side drying up, and in the case of the more liberal factions, withering to a flammable carpet of dry tinder and brush.

As I recall they proposed a whole Green New Deal and have been very active in Congress, you just do not agree with them. Why didn't Trump or anyone else that supports MAGA leave? All they have done is complain how America is no longer great.

The new green deal had nothing to do with green energy or being green. AOC's spokesman already ousted that lie for what it was.
it has everything to do with changing the economy.

That green deal was a hack of a plan and was called out all over the place for being a complete waste of crap.

how does that objectively affect me or you?

Who doesn't enjoy laughing at a clown show? And the USA is certainly that these days, laughing stock of the world. ;)

Oh no, taking a stand against racism still means a lot to most people who don't support racists and racism.

if people actually understand the definitiion of the words they use that would help.
the left is in full support of racism and bigotry as long as it is against groups they hate.

so please go yell racism at someone else.

Is it possible we can combine all the threads about racist Trump?
Also can we keep just one racist Trump thread going until he is out of office? There is no sense starting five racist Trump threads every week.
I find myself writing the same thing on all the racist Trump threads. My fingers are getting sore.

You think everyone's a sucker for an old Alinsky parlor trick.

And your point is what?

Other side of what? News Flash, I don't govern myself by your standard of what you think. I posted the thread and have had great comments. Again, how are you comparing one of my threads to my comment here. Whats your point? What are you comparing?

Ok, so everyone is on the same sheet of paper. I didn't realize this really needed an explanation of the obvious. The farther left they have gone the more their support has dwindled. When Cortez lost Amazon in New York by her own stupidity, that started the fall of her support and it continues to drop. Even Pelosi has made some comments about they are just 4 people to a question about what she thinks about them.

Cortez is around 22% favorable and Omar is at 9% and still dropping.

A June poll from inside Ocasio-Cortez's district found:
They don’t like her. She has a more than 2:1 ratio of unfavorable (50.88%) to favorable (21.37%) in public opinion.
They don’t trust her. Only 10.75% thought she had their best interests in mind in quashing the Amazon deal – 32.60% said she didn’t.
They don’t want her. 33.44% are ready to vote against her, and only 13.30% would vote for her.

Hi TD :2wave:

TDS TurtleDudeSyndrome. lol

Taking a stand against racists is not bigotry or racism. :lamo

Is it possible we can combine all the threads about racist Trump?

Nope. It's too much fun watching the TDS crowd twist themselves into pretzels trying to defend his almost daily racist tweets and comments.

If you can't remember what you said, you may need to take a break.
