Perhaps I've stated it before in a reply to you, but I've always wondered how the people of Germany were convinced to follow the Nazi Party. How did the Italians embrace Fascism? How do the North Korean people support the regime that crushes them.
And here we are today in the US. Indoctrination, threats, shaming, all designed to cow people into either embracing the reigime, or risk being destroyed.
Calling someone a racist in today's environment is designed to eliminate. To erase someone. It's designed to end discussion, and remove someone.
No ideas need to be discussed or debated. Just call someone a racist, because they have nothing else to offer.
Pretty sick stuff.
You aren't suggesting that there isn't racism in America? I'm a white guy and I certainly can't and wouldn't speak for minorities but from what I see and hear America appears to have a problem with racists and bigots. Are you suggesting that it is wrong to call someone a racist when their speech and behavior are racist?
Have you considered the possibility that there may be more overt racism and bigotry in America than there have been in the recent past? If so, why would it be wrong or inappropriate to speak up and challenge the hatred?
