In France Vincent Lambert is dead. The French medical "care" removed all water and food until he died.

Tell me again how wonderful government directed healthcare is.

Pretty sure that he would be dead in any country...

I just looked it up... get the **** outta here with medical care and government healthcare

It has nothing to do with that. He has been a vegetable for 11 years and can't survive without tubes feeding him. He was not taken off because of healthcare but because of a legal battle about euthanasia legal battles.

Why is it sensible and glorious to keep a piece of brainless meat alive?

He has been in a vegetative state since 2008.

There is a phrase that you may not be too familiar with and that is to die in dignity. We do not live forever. Existing in a vegetative state for 11 years is not living.

Has anybody in your family ever died? If so, then why didn't you do more to keep them alive.

But his mother said he responded to her. There was always hope.

Bottom line---------------killed by government health care.

Is this guy the Terri Schiavo of France or something?

He had sustained severe brain damage following a car accident in 2008 and had been living in a vegetative state.

This isn't about gov't healthcare

Politicizing someones death to make some kind of idiotic irrelevant point.

The "debate tactic" from those who have no regard for anything or anyone other than their putrid agenda.

The poster is the type of person who believes everyone should live forever.

This is bad as providing a heart transplant for someone on death row in prison.

There are only so many medical dollars available and at some point we are going to have to realize that we cannot afford to keep every brain dead person alive.

What do you think the cost of this 11 year torture to this man is? This is 24-7 ICU care.

If I am crapping in my bed all over myself for 11 years someone please pull my line.

Pretty sad to use this tragedy to push an agenda driven ideological narrative about govt health care. Really pathetic.

More hyperbolic codswallop.

hey, user Logical1's daily illogical thread. as usual, without context, as usual, with no link to what he's talking about.

That is a horrible run-on sentence with incorrect punctuation... basically, it is a ridiculous mess.
