Capitalism's hidden feudal caste system

If only we could get leftists and globalists out of the way of legislation, a solution could be obtained.

So conservatives only buy American? Only sell to Americans?

I'm not sure when "rich people and businesses exploiting cheap labor" became a purely liberal activity.

Do you have a graph or something so we can see how all this global economy is just liberals?

As he pointed out, they WERE out of the way for the first two years of his administration. Now answer why they didn't do anything about the problem...

Heres a hint.....because cheap labor works for them.

Well, if by "globalists" you mean plutocrats and the Fortune 500, and a lot of businesses smaller than them but still wielding great influence that might or might not be "global" companies, then sure.

Point is anyone with power and/or serious money in this country is at some level a "globalist."

And I do wish sometimes "leftists" had as much power as you're attributing to them - putting them on the same level as the plutocrats - but they don't.

While everything you said is correct, the more important factor here would be Yankee explaining to the class exactly what proposal was made that leftists stood in the way of to begin with.

Sure, I agree 100%. The GOP House didn't care at all about the "leftists" on any piece of legislation. They ruled as if the Democrats didn't exist in the House, and yet they still couldn't get their immigration agenda passed... I've seen a few people defend the GOP House by saying the Democrats would prevent a good GOP bill from getting to 60 on the Senate side, but that's BS. The House can pass their pure agenda and if it dies in the Senate, so what? They've put out their marker, can run on it the next cycle, and can work it out in committee if needed. Fact is the GOP donor class didn't want it, and so the tough immigration stuff died in committee...

So yeah, you're right of course. I was just pointing out really that "globalist" just means someone with power and/or money in this country, and that's not a "the Left" thing but a politics as old as the country thing, especially including on 'the Right.'

one question

is it possible to make money starting from zero? yes or no

look at the founders of some of the largest corps in america

most started with little or nothing

your argument fails from go....

It is good to remember that it is also possible to win the lottery.

Quit looking for the cheapest price online and support your local retailers, Amazon only exists because there’s a market. 101 Yo!

Walmart is profiting from literal slave labor. The only alternative to wall mart is not going back to an agrarian society, you are just a jack ass making excuses and refusing to think about better alternatives because you like your selfish, lazy retarded life as an American dick head.

I forgot to say, "Welcome to DP Aether!" This was what, your fourth post?

In the days of feudalism and monarchy, you could inherit land and power if you where born into nobility, and be forced to serve the nobility and be subject to them if you are not born a noble.
In capitalism you can inherit wealth and land and political power is decided by wealth because the government is a enslaved to corporations and banks. which means you can buy your way into power with the wealth you inherited. What has really changed? Not much.
We are still living under a well disguised feudal caste system. Your ability to make money is largely determined by how much of it you already have.

This is why many of our founders including Jefferson did not believe in inheritance and why large estates have been heavily taxed until now.

A power to dispose of estates for ever is manifestly absurd. The earth and the fulness of it belongs to every generation, and the preceding one can have no right to bind it up from posterity. Such extension of property is quite unnatural.” — Thomas Jefferson

Jefferson, Madison, and Washington on the Estate Tax | Andrew Tobias

The more progressive the tax system and government wealth distribution, the more wealth is created compared to the wealth created sans government favoring the rich. The greatest wealth creation of the rich is by the government (there is no other kind of individual wealth creation). Either way, the rich are still rich and the rest struggle to stay where they are.
