Everyone with a sane mind knows Trump is a Racist -Money Hustling - Bigot!..... Those who cling to him do so because they'd love to be the same. These are a mass of self consumed beings, who think their skin and money is all that matters in this world.
They are a "cult"
many of them were not even considered as white over 50+years ago, they were so desperate to be classified as white, they would take up any aspect of hate and racist promotions to be considered as white. This is how a cult functions and how cults become magnets for such types. Many among these cult members, where themselves at one time denigrated by the same groups they seek now to identify with, as long as they can wear the "white label". The poor among them can be led like sheep in the dead of winter to have their wool shaved and sent back out in the cold.
The sincere liberals who are white people who make the stand to embrace multiculturalism is the people who meld with society and advance the civility of America as they join with what makes America the nation that it is.
Many poor whites are also poorly educated, because of financial means, not because they are incapable of learning, they simply are caught in the spin and lose in the hoodwinking game that makes them fight things that result to them fighting against themselves... and they accept that, with the vain hope that one day their skin tone will give them access to money and acceptance by the well to do and wealthy whites. Which is "never" going to happen.
One need only look at the die hard Trump followers, and the visuals tell the fact, they will never be allowed at a Trump Property and certainly not to have or get membership in a Trump club. They walk around with a deep ingrained inferiority, which is why they are incessantly seeking someone to blame for their conditions, and creating in their minds someone to look down upon.
We see the young one of the right wing racist ignorance that go to Universities who created all the racist stupidity on campuses. They can't compete as just human beings, so they have to create means to try and degrade others, with a vain hope it will make them feel better about themselves. that's the symbolic conduct of fear filled and fear drive inferiority, they try and play it off with a self delusions of superiority. They are readily identifiable by their own conduct and the mentality that composes it.
They think if they gain a title and money they will become what they are not. These types encircle themselves with like types in pursuit of a notoriety, trying to fill a hollow heart and a soul-less self. These are the types who raise "bully's", "bigots" and "race mad imbeciles".... and they try and wrap themselves in materialism as if trying desperately to hide the real truths, that can't be hidden.
Go out and look about, if the wealthy wear pastel colors and polo shirts, these type will try the same when they get money, and they simply don't fit with the crowd they are trying to merge with, and that crowd can spot them a distance away. The only thing they get is if their daughters are pretty, she can become a play mate, but not a wife... and they are assured to make that clear when they are done playing. It's seen in every town in America... where the poor whites know which lines of community to avoid where the well to do and wealthy live... if their daughter that might be pretty meets one of the well to do sons at some venue, she knows to do all she can to hide and deny where she truly comes from. This is the scenario's that white people created for white people... its their means of creating 'internal race segregation from the well to do and wealthy from the white poor.
Trump plays them, because playing them is politically beneficial but its also profitable for the wealthy, beause they can dupe these people to give the wealthy a tax break and never know they are cutting their own legs from under themselves. This is nothing new... the well to do and wealthy have honed this game for centuries and decades... they fund and make film to keep these same minions "shopping" trying to live like a TV Show or a TV commercial, because it keeps them spinning in the cycle of perpetual debt, which is beneficial to the wealthy.
They don't want to hear these truth, but they know its true and it infuriates them to go into cycles of trying to deny it, but in the whole of it, they can't find means to escape the truth, so they keep trying to bury it.

They know all of what's written in Post 38 is true; but they lie to themselves to keep from facing the real truth. So they are happy to be a cult follower, with hopes that it gives them a sense of belonging. It the same game the Racist Groups use, as the gambit game of "giving them a sense of belonging"... something they can't gain on their own to be a member of society in a multicultural civic and civil environment.
All the regions where Opioid's and Drink and Heroin has consumed their young, is the real results of them trying to escape the trap their own ancestry set for them, with the ingrained grooming of racism and the delusion of white skin creating white priviledge as that of the past, to give them what they had not invested themselves to earn. Now that game is no longer available and they were not groomed to prepare themselves with education and skill, they blame everyone but their own ancestry and their own community grooming. Until they face those truths, they will do nothing but perpetuate much of the same in a cycle of repeating itself.
These are the same people who would not and don't take advantage of the "government funded training programs" and then they have the audacity to resent minorities and liberal minded whites who do take advantage of these "government funded training programs".. Many of the dire poor have been led to think that public assistance is for minorities and so they allow themselves to fall into the abyss and then blame everyone because their ill informed grooming has made them deny the assistance that is available, then they want to blame poor minorities and poor liberal whites who take advantage of assistance and improve their lives.
This is the ignorance taught to them during the era of segregation and certainly doing the latter decades of Jim Crow... and drilled into them by the likes of the 1960's ear Politicians who detested Civil Rights Act, and who resented the LBJ program of "Great Society Programs", simply because it did not "just help whites".
Black people and Liberal Whites understand that The Preamble, outlined these benefits for and to be for society, and for the Constitution to uphold the creation of programs... But these Right Winger, who are deluded to call themselves Conservatives, don't even know they support conserving the ideals of "white nationalism of Wealthy White Male Dominance" which does not have any concern or care for poor whites, it never has and never will, because its about White Nationalism FOR Wealthy White Male Dominance!! Its the same system that tries to defeat women, its the same system that 'dictated to poor whites how to vote and who to vote for, or threaten their jobs if they did not do as told"... This is the same system, that told them to fight themselves and attack Unions, as if they'd get a prize , and in turn they got stagnated wages and benefits stripped away, but all they could think was they wanted to deny accept to union jobs wages and benefits to minorities, it the result is it denied the very same to them!!!.. Having grown up and lived in Miami for decades, I can assure you that I am more well aware of Cuban exile sentiments than the average bear.
I know a Jewish family that fled Nazi Germany to Cuba. There, they worked hard and started a new life. They owned a small store. One day, arriving at their store, they found armed guards. The store had been nationalized.
They fled again, this time to America.
No Castro, no problem.

This "Cult" is ignorance to the changes to the climate, even as it devastate them in an ever increasing cycles, they are ignorant to the over taking of small farmers by the "industrial farmer" that becomes more and more widespread with the lowering of regulations and the allowance of corporations to make mass contribution to place their people into political seats. Wisconsin found out the need to stop it, by creating laws to stop politican contribution by unknown entities and to put limits on what they can contribute!
As a nation , the only way to take money out of gaining political control and placing owned minions in office, is to create Local -State - Federal Campaign Financing! and void out the means for PAC to have any say within Campaign Advertisements and Campaign Promotions... thus create a system where "the chips fall as they may"... by the Candidates who talk about concerns that matter to society and people, and not the wealthy and the corporate systems.
It takes education and it takes people to wake up and abandon their "cult" system... but ignorance won't allow them to think that deeply. They are fed a daily stream of right wing "Attack Something Agenda"... 24/7... and they lust for it day by day... Unaware to see each day, they sink themselves deeper and deeper into holes they can't dig their way out of. But their ego won't let them face the truth of their own folly nor admit to their own mistakes. For some who taught their madness to their children, can't fathom to tell their children they were wrong... so they perpetuate the madness, with a dire hope the wealthy white man will come and rescue them.
For many they can't begin to conceive of life outside of the bigotry and bias they were raised and daily fed... it would upend their lives and they are afraid to face the challenge of change. The world is moving further into technical skills, and they are still hung up to think manual labor factories will return, when Robotics has been removing those jobs since the earliest days of mechanical systems within industry, those system advanced in how they void out the need for manual labor, of which today, those systems have become controlled by computer programs...
Give a few of these people a few 4 wheel drive toys and some guns and they blind themselves to the advancements of society.

I know the sentiment, as I have Cuban refugee friends too. That, however, does not really equate to leaning right (they don't). It was the "reason" part I was reacting to. There is a "reason" the second generation feels differently. I concede that it is the knee-jerk reaction to communist-dictatorship. It's dictatorship, just with a different flavor. The difference between Castro and Samosa is slight.

Go to some of the poor and dire poor communities and look at the high volume of psychological problems, birth defects and various forms of disabilities, where these people don't know where to even begin the process of seeking help. They are unaware of programs, and they are not educationally equipped to navigate the systems that could possibly help them, and they fight against a health care program that was set in place to make it easier for them to navigate and easier for them to get help... instead they let the Republican ranks tell them to "Attack It"...
Many of those who thought the idea of being a man was doing back breaking manual labor, by the age of 40 many are broken down and trapped in destitution and their children suffer the consequence, because they stood against Union and the Safety and Work Rules that Union created to help them. Now they no longer have that, because they "Attacked It".... Look around at those who no longer know what to do when the manual labor dries up... There was a time when women could work a diner and raise a family, or Grocery Store Clerks made decent salaries that provided as close to middle class living, bu today, barely will pay the rent in a low income run down and unkept dwelling.

When your homeland is destroyed by communism. When you must flee your homeland, risking life and limb, to escape injustice. You tend to lean the other way.
This is a truism in Miami. It is the reason Cubans, unlike other immigrants, lean hard right. They want their homeland liberated and they know the left will not push as hard to dethrone Castro.

And I don't just have friends. I've spent my life among Cuban exiles.
Without Cubans, Florida would go to the democratic party every Presidential vote.
