Trump tells Dem congresswomen: Go back where you came from

This thread is not about Nancy Pelosi. You're trying to distract from what Trump said by finding something someone else said. But that's a separate argument.

It sounds to me that Pelosi was saying that the people should come first not political ideology. It seems obvious that she was referring to California legislators. It doesn't make much sense for an ordinary citizen to put "the people" first. But again, that's your attempt at distracting. An intelligent person doesn't play such games.

Do you agree that Melania should go back to Slovenia and test her "Be Best" campaign there first? Why not admit that what Trump said is wrong? It makes no sense at all.

LOL

But, but, but....

It's not fair to point out that Nancy tweeted something worse. This is about our insane obsession with the President and all his supporters we have directed to hate.

Get real.

Oh, ok, so you're saying Trump's father was born in Germany. So maybe Trump should go back to Germany and test his policies there. Tell the Germans to get rid of universal health care they've had for a hundred years.

LOL

Have a nice evening.

I can understand how upsetting it is to see that Nancy said something worse, and you don't want to acknowledge it.

Without hypocrisy, there would hardly be a liberal progressive New Democratic Party.

Everyday Americans are noticing.

Pretty much everyone is intellectually dishonest.

Stupidity, hypocrisy and infantile behavior abound.

This is an invisible flea on a nothing burger.

That depends on your values. Some may genuinely feel that POTUS telling American citizens to go back to the ****hole countries they came from is not a big deal. I'm not one of those people.

The 10,000 lies is a lie. It's full of BS fake news. The author of the list has been forced to admit it.

Washington Post’s 10,000 Trump untruths is about 25% fake news - MarketWatch

President Donald Trump, according to one well-publicized tally, has told 10,000 whoppers during this presidency.
His falsehoods include such incredible claims such as accurately stating the number of new jobs since the election. Or Trump saying he signed executive orders that he did, in fact, sign. Or claiming that Sen. Bernie Sanders, who wants corporate taxes to increase, worker wages to rise, and stock buybacks to end, wants 401(k) values to “dissipate.”

For example, I pointed out that, while the U.S. is not the fastest growing economy in the world, as Trump has stated, it is nonetheless the fastest in the developed world, which the Post did not point out. “Your point about growth in the developed world is a fair one and I will consider adding that context, though that is not what Trump said,” he said.

Just a list of distortions, or lies, or fake news. Keeps the triggered and gullible coming back for more.

Ok, 5000.

It's a fact that whether or not Nancy Pelosi tweeted something worse is a different argument. It's a distraction from the current argument.

But I'm glad you're admitting that what Trump tweeted was wrong if you're claiming what Pelosi tweeted was worse.

But at least I can tell you what I think Pelosi meant and defend it. I think she meant that if you're a Republican in public office who cares more about ideology than the people you don't belong in office. That's my interpretation. What's your interpretation of what Trump meant? Why should American citizens have to go back to their country of origin to test policy? What did Trump mean and do you agree with it?

If you're intellectually honest you have to be able to explain what you believe Trump meant and explain why you agree with it.

See, you eliminate yourself from any consideration when you try to make up lies about what another post wrote or meant.

I don't agree the President said anything racist. I agree with his sentiment.

You just don't seem to be able to handle the fact the Speaker of the House is a hypocritical POS.

So, go ahead and call me a racist. It couldn't mean less to me.

Oh I see. Pointing out that this thread is about Trump means I am upset? It seems that it is YOU who is upset so you had to try to distract us from Trump's tweets.

Nice try. Try to calm down. I know it's upsetting to learn your Speaker of the House is a lying sack of ****.

Based on lies and a false premise, according to you. I reject your opinion. I reject the effort of other biased ideologues who are inventing propaganda to trigger their fellow believers.

Like a good loyal Trumpkin, of course you do. :doh:roll::lol:

That's the biggest projection I have ever seen. :lamo

The title of this thread has always interested me as a right wing-ish theme. Back in the 1960s, in response to anti war sentiment, there appeared bumper stickers "America, Love it or Leave it." It was partner to "UnAmerican" or "anti-American". We were not free back then to oppose US military adventures, even if we thought them misguided or unjust. Some of this is perhaps just a BS attack to gain advantage in an argument, connecting your opponent with perhaps a foreign government. But other parts of it just are weird.

Consider these examples: Donald Trump says America is a "mess," comments on "American carnage" and no one thinks of him as unAmerican. People are, say, critical of the "mess" in detention centers and somehow they hate America. Years ago I wrote a report sharply criticizing the US asylum decisions and the detention conditions for asylum seekers, as did many others, during Reagan's time. The system changed under Bush One, though detention problems remain. We're we being unAmerican? Is this just a conservative strategy without a real belief in the disloyalty of others, or is it firmly held? Is it comparable to hasty accusations of racism? People on the left don't tell conservatives to leave the US if they don't like Obamacare. What gives?

Trump just ran on the premise that the U.S. is a carnage-strewn ****hole. They don't say "go back where you came from" because you're critical of the status quo. They're saying it to minorities who talk out of turn. It's that famous "economic anxiety" gripping Trump's tiki torch waving base.

Look at all the Stormfront rejects in this thread echoing Herr Trump.

WTF are you talking about?

Racists call others racist without knowing they themselves are the real racists. Trump is not a racist, those calling him a racist are racists.
